why is there no info in the manuals about corporate mode?
Can anyone give me a run down on how it differs from Basic or Personal modes?

Corp mode installs the device "as-is", with virtually NONE of the provider-bespoke software that you see such as O2 Active or whatever T-Mobile or Orange provide also.
It's more of a blank page from which to start, rather than having all kinds of different little applets that are put on such as, again, O2 Active and their own Task Manager program.
It also means that to some extent, it's for advanced users only as one of the consequences is there is no GPRS / 3G setup done for connecting to the Net.
In a nutshell, installing as corp mode is a little like installing Windows on a PC, but then not installing all the little manufacturer programs that are designed to "help" you. Often they're the weakest link in the chain as they are often buggier than the OS itself.

Excellent reply - thanks
Why does Corporate mode require a pin number then?

I really like Corporate mode, but I'm not sure of all the settings for 3g/GPRS/MMS. Has anyone got all the settings? It would definitely be worth having them somewhere on the forum or in the wiki.
Thanks for any help,
Fin
