i have a few questions. im running the 2.26 usa tmobile rom on a us tmobile mda aka htc wizard

i dont work for a company with a enterprise server. and im not familiar with how blackberry works except that its push email.

would it work for me? does instaling this and changing your plan with tmo to a blackberry mail plan give you a blackberry email address? ex: ___________@tmo.blackberry.net
or does it just provide blackberry push mail with your corporate email address?

any and all responses would be appreciated . thanks in advance

if you change over your plan to the 19.99 T-Mo USA plan then yes you do get the username@ymo.blackberry.net address. but bear in mind that you will be using version 1.8 so you dont get multiple return addresses in the BIS

you have to use latest tmobile UK Rom and the BB connect software on the upload section of the FTP.
1-To get it working you must first be provisioned for blackberry by tmobile
2- after you have been provisioned (this probably wil take several days) you must make sure that NO PROGRAMS HAVE AN OPEN GPRS CONNECtion
3- open the BB client y=on your MDA and tell it to resume service.
4- the deveice will log in and eventually pull an IP address and pin
5- THIS IS IMPORTANT - you must log into my tmobile and change your device from an MDA to a blackberry 7100 (other models may work)
6- THIS IS IMPORTANT - Now click the link that says support for your Blackberry 7100t (this link is on the upper right quadrant of your screen)
7- THIS IS IMPORTANT - on this new page select the link marked "set up your blackberry internet email"
8- THIS IS IMPORTANT - Set up your Email here then goto the next step
9- THIS IS IMPORTANT - - THIS IS IMPORTANT - Click the Change handheld link
- THIS IS IMPORTANT -- THIS IS IMPORTANT -- THIS IS IMPORTANT -- THIS IS IMPORTANT -- THIS IS IMPORTANT -- THIS IS IMPORTANT -

at this point you should be prompted by a popup to accept you new pin this is the most important part. if this doesnot work then you try again later.

- THIS IS IMPORTANT -- THIS IS IMPORTANT -- THIS IS IMPORTANT -- THIS IS IMPORTANT -- THIS IS IMPORTANT -- THIS IS IMPORTANT -

Another reason it will not work is because you are not using the Tmobile UK ROM I dont know if its just the rom or the radio rom but for some reason I get all kinds of errors with the mr clean roms (besides I get much better reception with the tmobile UK rom than any other rom I have tried to date)

everything should be working perfectly.
some notes though
the BB connect softeware will not work if there is an open GPRS connection before it tries to connect, also you may have to disable the BB software before using your MDA in modem link mode, once again this is B/c BB connect hates you.

Ok, I've read through this entire post. Man, it's been confusing. With the release of the official TMo 2.26 US ROM, has anyone tested this out? Has anyone figured out if it's just the issue of the radio ROM needing to be less? I like the new ROM so I'd hate to have to scrap it just to get BB to function.

Confirmed it's working with the UK TMobile 2.21 ROM as well as the QTEK 2.17 ROM. My Wizard seems so much faster and more stable now and annoying bugs have been fixed!

thanks Seattleboi1982 and Spiritofseth for yall responses.

seems like alot of work to get it working. nothing i cant handle tho. i dont think im gonna do it tho. i just loaded the us 2.26 rom. i dont wanna have to flash another rom so sson just to get it working. also i use modem link alot tehering to my comp. would be a hassle all the time activating and deactivating the bb software. id probably miss alot of mails. lol

i think im just gonna stick with my mail2web exchange account utilizing the direct push with the new 2.26 us rom. i get my mails within 60 seconds of them being sent. woulda been cool having a bb email address with a mda tho . best of both worlds

I have the bbconnect client installed, it obtained and IP address and PIN. But I have never provisioned a bbconnect device only true Blackberries. How do you provision this with BES?

JoninLA
31st July 2006, 04:50 PM
Provision the same as a BB. Comnnect to the desktop/laptop, let activesync settle down. Open the desktop client and hit "Connect", go through the usual painful BB password creation and it will then provision the services on the handheld (and syn the calendar if you selected that option). Disconnect and it will establish a connection over the cellular and off you go - don't forget it may take 10 mins to 30 mins before email starts flowing to the handheld (never worked out why that sometimes happens)

really its not that hard once you have the right radio rom its practically automatic the key is to change your phone on my tmobile so that you can get to the bis service then eventually your key will automatically change, this might not happen if you have a hardcare (or poorly made) firewall/antivirus/popup blocker.

Weirdest thing. Ran fine with the QTEK 2.17 ROm from Saturday till this morning then refused to function and stopped sending or receiving mail. Blew out the QTEK and went with the TMo UK 2.21 ROM and it's back to working again (yes, checked the BES server and all was fine at that end). I'm on TMo service so maybe it's just the TMO BB plan likes to see a TMo ROm but that would not explain why it worked for nearly four days without a hitch... Damn annoying as I so prefer the QTEK ROM's if nothign else to get away from the damn pink phone skin

The same thing has happened to me but on the TMo UK 2.21 ROM. I'll try uninstalling/reinstalling the Blackberry s/w on the phone but if that doesn't work, I really don't want to have to do a hard reset if this is going to be a regular occurrence.

Also discovered that although the Blackberry status was connected, even the contact lookup didn't work. I managed to solve the problem by uninstalling Blackberry Connect (and selected the option to remove all settings) and then reinstalled again. Seems to be working properly, let's hope permanently!

Yes it does. In the Blackberry Settings on the phone, click on "services" and then "Blackberry [CMIME]". Select the "synchronization" tab and the setting is in there.

Correction. BB Connect 2.1.2.16 works on Cingular 8125, but far from perfect.. I can receive e-mails instantly like normal Blackberry device, but cannot write, send or forward anything. These commands do not function at all. in built-in messaging, "system" folder is automatically created instead of "Blackberry" folder as shown in the manual, which is also weird. I only tried BIS, and not sure if it works with BES.

Located in the US, been using the RUU_Prodigy_1060204_105_11210_TMO_UK_Ship.exe ROM for the past couple of months successfully. Decided to upgrade to the new RUU_Prodigy_2210206_22102109_021911_TMO_UK_WWE_Shi p.exe ROM today, and have had some problems. I'm still using the BBConnect_PocketPC_TMO_DE_2.1.1.20.cab on my MDA. I never uninstalled my Blackberry Connect Desktop software.

I'm using my corporate BES, not BIS from T-Mo

Steps I took:
1) Load new ROM
1.5) Change WAP settings
2) Load BB Connect on MDA
3) Connect via BB Desktop to MDA, and thus services are transferred.
At this point, the Blackberry software on the device showed connected, although after 15 minutes I hadn't received any e-mail. So....
4) Clicked Register Now on the MDA
Now the device says "Not Connected" and won't connect ?????
5) Went to T-Mo's website, device was set to "unknown". Set the device to the 7100t.
6) Went into Blackberry Settings, selected Change Handheld, gave it the PIN & IMEI.

Not sure what's going on here. Any help appreciated. Do I need to downgrade the ROM? In re-registering, is it possible my BES is now blocking my non-Blackberry device while they weren't 2 months ago when originally registered?

Any help appreciated. Thanks.
Ivano

Corportate e-mail, accessible via Blackberry Enterprise Server only.....

Thus, random push e-mail services = useless, for e-mail & in addition lookup on corp e-mail directory, calendar via Notes w/ , etc.

After reading thru most of the BB Connect and ROM-upgrade threads I get the im pression that the new (Vodafone originated) BB Connect 2.1.2.16 works on all AKU 2 OS roms, but requires a 2.x Radio roms with version <= 2.19.11.

Arguments:
QTek 2.17 WWE / TMO 2.21 WWE / Vodafone 2.21 GER OS roms do differ but all support the BB Connect

Vodafone / Tmo 2.21 rom upgrade package contains 2.19.11 radio

QTek 2.17 WWE rom upgrade package contains 2.7.10 radio

Has anyone tried the combo of ie the MrClean 2.24 (aku 2.3) os rom with the 2.19.11 radio to work with the Vodafone BB Connect client?
(I am more than happy to try it out but only once I have my own BB subscription (to arrive in some weeks!)

Hi there,

I have the blackberry connect software working; it is actually very good, seems to resolve the emails faster than my old blackberry...

But now i have a different issue, i want to surf the web using the blackberry GPRS settings, (in order to run the blackbery service i am on a BB tariff which can not access normal GPRS).

When i go to internet explorer it trys to dial a standard GPRS and drops the blackberry GPRS...

Any ideas on how i can the Blackberry Connect software to give me access to the web?

Finally, I can receive the Email from Enterprise Server now.

I changed the setting in The Blackberry Enterprise sever.
At the first beginning, the Encryption Algorithm set "AES" only. After I changed it to "3DES and AES", then the emails and push to my Dopod 900 and calendar items can be synchronize in both ways.

However, I have a problem. If my device is idle in use, then it will black out. When I wake it up, I found that the blackberry icon disapeared, and the blackberry connection still connected, but the blackberry service is stopped. I cannot turn the service on again unless I soft reset my device. Do you have same experience?

Although this thread (focusses on Blackberry Connect software) nor this forum (focusses on everything Wizard thats not upgrade or accesoiries) is not the correct one, the answer is:
In the Wizard Upgrading forum.
There are numerous upgrade packages in a variety of languages. If youre looking for enlish, you shoud look for packages that have 'WWE' in their name.
Personally I can recommend the Mr Clean AKU 2.3 package, but theres lots more.

This one is easy. I had the same prob when i've installed the BBConnect on the SD. After i uninstalled it and then installed in main memory it is absolutely ok.

I have another issue - sometimes the BlackBerry folder disappears from my folders list in messenger. When i create a new dummy email account, it appears again, but after 3-5 hours dissapears. Did you experience this ?

It is irrelevant to the SIM what Rom youre using. The BB Connect client is picky however. But as you can read in this thread the (Vodafone DE) BB Connect client works certain with english (WWE) roms as well. If the rom is English the BB Connect installer will also use English language!

same thing happening to me on Prophet - just wont connect

But on my Wizard it works perfectly with the 2.25.11 radio rom, and 2.17.7.2 WWE Normal Qtek 9100 ROM

just one note for all the others - RIM provides the same service to all of BB customers, if it's BB internet service, then you log in to their pages and use their infrastructure, it's up to the operators only to support the package they demand, IN OTHER WORDS - if it's working for a guy next to you, try and ask his ROM info, the problem is probbably on your device's side..

be patient and persistant and it will work.. Oh it's worth it 8)

Symptomps that I see: the BB Connect client always reports "not connected". it will dial out, establish a GPRS connection (the status icon switches to that stage), then disconnects.

Setup:
T-Mobile MDA
ROM 2.26.10.2 WWE (latest TMO US ROM)
radio: 02.25.11

Anyone got this to work????

thanks

try to delete all data connections and allow BB software to generate PIN, you can add them later on

Well, that got me a little closer so thanks for that. It's no longer giving me the blocked message, but now it first says Network Available, and then Not Connected. I noticed that no IP address is provided either.

What next?

Thanks again...

When I re-added my data settings Blackberry Connect went back to blocked. I have yet to see it work because it's always blocked. Is there a specific radio version I should be using?

Thanks

I use ftp://xda:xda@xda-developers.com/Wizard/Radio_Roms/Cingular_2.25.11_Radio_Only.zip

and works

That is Cingular radio, not T-Mobile 2.25.11 - those two are NOT the same.. try this one, you can always reflash..

I have just succeeded in getting this to work. I switched to TMobile US, my phone is unloacked.

Flashed TMobileUK Roms.
Installed BB Connect v2.1.2.16
Privisioned with BB Desktop Software
Contacted TMobile to ensure Blackberry Services were connected to my phone number.
Opened the BB serviceson 8125 and selected REGISTER NOW.

All is happy now with email.

All of the files I used were retrieved from the ftp site.

Which exact ROM version from TMO UK do you have?

Thought I would post my experience.

Unlocked Cingular 8125
Qtek 2.17 ROM
Cingular 02.25.11 Radio ROM
BBConnect 2.1.2.16
Cingular 64k SIM with BB Unlimited Data Plan from my 8700c

After installing I used the Blackberry Desktop to provision the phone. A pin was generated and my BES server switched my service over to the new pin. The desktop manager also immediately began a manual sync of my calender. While connected to the desktop the connect read "Blocked - ActiveSync". Once disconnected I got an IP and was connected. A few seconds later and email started flowing in & out.

I thought I was home free, then I performed a soft reset. The bbconnect failed to start, I restarted the service several times before it finally stayed running. Once running it connected again and started receiving email again.

I left things running this way only to find that about 8 to 10 hours later bbconnect went into blocked mode. I tried restarting teh service again, but it would not stay running. I had to uninstall and then reinstall to get it up and running again. Only for it to go into blocked mode again several hours later.

I have two conclusions:

1.) This service/client is not 100% stable on Qtek 2.17 ROM

2.) Cingular/RIM eventually figure out that my PIN should not be on the network and shut it down

PS Someone else may understand RIM licensing better than I. But I was under the impression that your PIN tells RIM what providor you are using and what device. Given these details Cingular has to pay licensing to RIM if it intends to run BBConnect on the 8125's, hence why I go into blocked mode eventually???

I was able to flash TMobile UK 2.21.2.6 with radio ROM 2.19.11

I tried several variations with Cingular with no success. TMobile was a walk in the park. After switching providers I did reset my 8125 so that I would start clean and then installed BB Connect.

I doubt RIM has anything to do about it... I have my BB solution running for quite some time now, as well as many other people without it being disabled..

I'd rether look into Cingular-MS relations pushing forward the use of DirectPush, property of MS, the BB competition...

We have just migrated at work from BES 3.6 to BES 4.0.

Since the migration my qtek has stopped working. The blackberry service shows a connection through GPRS to blackberry.

But if I try to look up a address it just fails and I don't receive any mail. Has anyone got any advice?

Thanks.

Hi all

A version 2[1].1.2.31 is available on the tmobile.de site:
https://after-sales-service.t-mobile.de/eg_online/t-mobile/t_mda_vario.htm

Now, could someone please explain me how can I try to get BB working on my Wizard please? :)
The pdfs that I found are either in German or Dutch, no English ones ...

What I would like to do is to connect to my company work exchange server to retrieve my emails via GPRS or Wifi

1) First: Is it possible to retreive the emails via WIFI with BB client or only GPRS is working for this?

2) I don't know exactly what is the install sequence (the funny activesync first, then the BB connect client, then?)

3) Should my french provider (Orange FR) enable my SIM for BB service? I have a personal subscription, not company one

4) Should I upgrade my roms: OS 2.16.9.1 WWE TMO; radio 02.07.10 ?

5) Long shot: Did someone succeded to do this on the Orange France network? :-) (or other french networks)

Cheers,
Kelu

I tried installing this on my 6915 and never even got a PIN generated on the device. I am not sure what I need to do next. I hope that the 6915 is capble of this. If I saw that more people were having success I would try harder but I am aboutto give up trying. It is appears not ready to be used RELIABLY on Windows Mobile if this many people are having problems.

If someone could post specific, detailed, step-by-step instructions for those of us who obviously don't get it I'm sure we would all be appreciative. I definitely would be.

Has anyone been able to get Blackberry Connect to work on the following MDA configuration?

MDA ROM 2.26.10.2 WWE
Radio 02.25.11
BBConnect Pocket PC 2.1.2.31
BBConnect Desktop 2.1.1.18

-----------------------------------
I was able to install the software on both the MDA and PC. I received a BB pin and was able to be seen on our company's BES.

The problem I have is that I don't have a connection. The MDA attempts to connect but then disconnects.

I'd prefer not to flash the MDA with another ROM or Radio. The fact that I was able to install the software on the MDA without error is a major improvement over previous attempts (and with other devices). I fear that if I do flash the ROMs I still won't get service because I can't seem to add BB Email service to my TMobile plan.

I tried going to the TMobile website to add Corporate Blackberry service but it won't let me because I have their Unlimited Internet plan for $19.99 a month and it states it conflicts. Even if I change my phone to a Blackberry style phone. One post suggested by changing my phone on TMobile's site I would be given an option to add BB email but I wasn't.

Any advice?
Thanks in advance.

I have a Cingular 8125 with the following current configuration:

T-Mobile ROM 2.26.10.2 WWE
Radio 02.25.11
BBConnect Pocket PC 2.1.2.31
BBConnect Desktop 2.1.1.18

The problem I have is that I can successfully register my device with my local pc but cannot get the device connected to Blackberry. My BES configuration is correct, as I can access it off my local PC. The furthest I can get is the Blackberry Service on my 8125 saying "Not Connected", then it goes to "Network Available" and then back to "Not Connected".

I have used many different ROM's to try to get this working and I just installed the T-Mobile this morning but it didn't resolve the problem. I'm wondering if the problem I'm having is because of my Cingular account configuration.

Here's my entire Cingular configuration from their website. Does anybody see anything that would prohibit me from connecting via Blackberrry connect?

Groggrog,

RIM is very specific about which combination of BB connection version, ROM version & radio version they allow on the BB network. This is true for both the 2.x BB Connect client as well as the older 1.x BB Connect client (I used this with the UK based rom on an XDA II for a couple of years before I upgraded to the Wizard this year).

From what I've seen for the Wizard (in english), the only combination thats widely known to work (with a BB 2.x client) is as per this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=276371&highlight=blackberry:

I use:

BB connect: 2.1.2.16
Qtek ROm: RUU_Prodigy_2170702_21707102_20710_QTEK_WWE_Ship
Cingular Radio Rom: Cingular_2.25.11_Radio_only

Tmobile in germany actually first put out a 2.x (older than 2.1.2.16) BB client, but it would not work with an AKU 2.x rom. On their site it was promised that a new BB client and an approved 2.x rom would be delivered in July this year but never seemed to happen. I keen an eye out on that site once in a while to see if a newer client/rom version is possible.

There is also an official O2 version/combination which I've not tried but apparently also works at: http://blackberry.o2.co.uk/xda_mini_s.asp. Looking at the docs, it looks like it uses an AKU 2.2 Rom, but the Radio Rom 2.07.10 which is older than the above combination.

Titus - I'm pretty bored at work today so have some time to mess around with my device. The AKU ROM at the site you listed is for an XDA Mini-S. I'm not familiar with that device. Is that the same as the 8125 I have? Any issue you can see with me trying to put that on my 8125 to test?

Thanks again,

Yes It is the same device, and that ROM works perfectly with BB connect. I used BB connect for a while but I was getting bored with older roms, so these days I'm using newer ROMs (Molksi Aku 3.2 currently), which is much faster. But instead of using BB connect I'm using microsoft exchange pushmail as BB connect won't work with the newer roms as mentioned by others.

Hope this helps.

I'm in the same boat, but I have to use BB Connect because it's for my company's BES server and exchange pushmail won't help. I also prefer the Molski ROM's.

Between the two ROM choices that work with BB Connect, the Qtek & the AKU, which would you suggest using? Also, since my Cingular account is set up with Blackberry Connect, shouldn't I be able to use BB Connect along with internet data on the same connection? Right now I have to disable my radio to let BB connect, otherwise it tells me the radio is blocked.

I would prefer the Qtek ROM for BB connect as it's cleaner compared to O2, but they neither of them gave me any problem whatsoever, Just little slower compare to new ones. About using both internet and BB connection at the same time, it's not possible as you can have only one connection at a time. Also when you use your phone, you might have noticed that your either BB connect or internet, whichever you're using gets disabled and enables again after you hang up the phone.

Faria actually said that he's working on a BB connect hack which will help us to use BB connect in newer ROMs as well. I'm waiting with my finger-crossed.

The thing that confuses me is that Cingular claims that if you have the Blackberry Connect service enabled you don't need any other data plan because their BBC service handles both data & Blackberry traffic at the same time. My account with them is set up with just the Blackberry plan, but I still have to use separate connections so I guess that's just how it is. I was hoping that using blackberry.net as the only APN would do the trick but it doesn't. Any idea if this is by design or is it that Cingular just doesn't support dual use now but plans to in the future?

I really appreciate everyone's help, and I think this discussion should help others learn more about getting BBC working on our devices.

You don't need another data plan probably because Cingular is lumping GPRS in with BB (you need GPRS for BB as well). The difference is different APNs thus the need to disconnect and reconnect.

I haven't used the O2 rom either as I said, but from what I can see it is for the same device as yours. Also, both the Qtek rom and the O2 roms are AKU2, just the O2 one is a bit newer (albeit with an older radio rom...)

I took the opportunity that life in the office is somewhat slow these days (hey, it is summer now below the Equator) and decided to try to make BB Connect work in my Qtek 9100 from Claro (Telmex Brazilian sub). I had 2.22.17.1 PTB ROM and 2.46.11 radio rom. No BB Connect client would work on those, so I tried the Prodigy rom and Cingular radio, as per here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=276371&highlight=blackberry). In the office, they have just implemented BES.

I was very excited at first when it worked flawlessly. I would say it is even faster than BB devices. However, I was not impressed with reconciliation of emails between server and device (for instance, the read flags where not "transferred" to the server. Also, contacts lookup in server folders is limited.

But what annoyed me the most was that Prodigy rom is very slow. It takes forever to boot and BB connect is a hungry fellow in terms of system resources. Along with this, the Claro customized rom is not hard on the eyes. So I decided to get back to it and, for now, will keep using email redirection (after all, if I don't have email redirection, I can well use a service such as mail2web - the only downside would be that people will see I am not sending from my primary email address, but anyway).

Does anyone know or has a comparison between the services available on BB devices and those on BB connect? It would be great to understand the differences between them.

Also, does anyone here use Flexmail with BB? Is it even possible? I ask that because, with MS direct push, I was able to send messages via Flexmail, which has far more options than any other mail client for ppc. Just wondering...

I am looking forward for Faria's hack to use BB connect in newer Roms. That would be very nice. Let's wait for that.

Thanks all.

I'm trying to get Blackberry Connect running on my Wizard. I have a couple of issues that I haven't seen addressed anywhere in the forums.

First, my info:
Device = HTC Wizard G4, Cingular 8125.
OS = WM 6.1 TNT.19199 v2.
Carrier = AT&T w/ a PDA Enterprise data plan, which allows BBConnect
My company runs Blackberry Enterprise Server.

I was able to get Blackberry Connect 4.0 from here: http://www.sems.org/entry.asp?ENTRY_ID=225

Does anyone have a more recent version?
Do you know if I still need to use a hex editor to spoof my OS version? I haven't tried that yet.

Does anyone currently have BBConnect running successfully on an AT&T data plan using your 8125's IMEI number?

I installed BBConnect 4, it rebooted, I tried activating the BB, but it just said "Not Connected". Occasionally if I go to Utility and click "Register" the status screen will say "Service: Network Available" then "Data Tunnel Available" then back to "Not Connected".

Can I please hear from anyone running BBConnect on a Wizard? What is your configuration? What is your version of BBConnect? Where did you get it? What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance,
Dave

Amazing, after flashing firmwares, installing various BB Connect clients I finally made it work!. (I think it rather made itself work to stop suffering from comas during ROM flashes :)
I use it for BES access only (access to company emails).

Here is the device I have:
Device: MDA Vario purchased from T- mobie Slovakia (i.e. HTC Wizard ). (version WIZA200), CID unlocked
Operator: O2 Czech Republic
ROM:
IPL 2.21
SPL 2.21
OS 2.21.2.7
GSM 02.19.11

This is what I have done:

1/ T-mobile branded ROM (file used for flash name was MDA_Vario_firmware_2.21.2.111.exe)
After flash it shows this versions stated above

2/ BB Connect client installed: from german Vodafone (links in posts above) filename BBConnect_PocketPC_BB_2.1.2.31.exe.
Downloaded from german Vodafone – links in posts above file name (VPA II)

3/ On PC installed file ActiveSync_BBConnect_Desktop_Setup_2.1.1.18.exe

3/ Run Bbery setup on MDA (from settings-system) on tab Tools hit “Register with network now”. On Status tab appeared Not connected – then Data Tunnel Available – and finally Connected… and stayed! (in opposite to many previous attempts to make it work)

4/ MDA connected to PC, run BBConnect destkop sw on PC, clicked on “Connect device…”
(this added services on service tab on MDA Bbery setup)
(not sure if I did not do this before step 3 actually)

5/ on tab Tools hit “Email settings” button – it opened iexplorer and opened address bis.eu.blacberry.com/wap?brand=o2cz@BBSessionID=SW.........scramble....
I think I hit submit on screen which appeared (not 100% sure)
(not sure whether that has anything to do with making it work as I believe I use BES, not BIS…)

6/ I went home from work thinking how shall I activate the service (i.e. where to put my email and activation password which I was provided by our company’s BES server administrator

7/ on the way home emails suddenly started to arrive on my MDA.

I have no clue about how it realized who I am and how it managed to route through BES server / RIM servers / O2 provider’s servers to my device…my theory is that when I setup PC Bbconnect Desktop (step 3) it linked with my Outlook/Exchange mailbox and pulled an email address from there. In step 4 it copied these data in form of services into my MDA and then these services managed to make its way through down to my company’s BEServer

( be sure I tried many combinations of ROM/Clients, only one not tried was the JoninLA’s variant with 1.06 as his link to ROM did not work for me.
(tried Button 1.05 rom instead) but no luck.
