i just installed o2 active from the 1.40 rom for BA onto my wm5.0 BA
this should display if anything in the correct format, but it displays in vga,
i tried to install the o2 active cab from the xda exec rom, but i had vga issues with that, but from the xda2s rom, i wouldnt have thought id have the same issues.
anyone know why this happened????, cos i sure xda 2s with 1.40 rom isnt in vga. :?

What do you mean ? Your hardware doesn't
(and never will) support vga.

what i mean is, i installed the o2 active taken from the new o2 uk 1.40 rom. this rom is for xda 2s blue angel. this rom isnt for a vga device so should not display vga software.
i installed the o2 active from 1.40 o2 uk to my xda 2s running wm5.0 and it displayed as vga.
i know it does not support it , but when displayed the graphics were way too big to be displayed properly.
i not sure how to explain that any different, do you know what i mean?? :) :)

The graphics display that way because they are larger - they are indented for a display that is higher resolution.
Looks like you have tricked the OS into thinking you are running a VGA display when obviously you are not.

i know that, but my point is, they shouldnt, because this o2 active cab was from the o2-uk 1.40 rom, which isnt vga. so it should not display vga for a none vga device.
i tried this with the cab from the xda exec and expected this from that given that it was a vga rom/device.
