I just bought a Dopod 900 and
1) was unable to install any applications in the Storage Card and run properly.
The applications are installed in the storage card "\儲存卡\Program Files", apparently :evil: programs can't run at all...
tried: bejeweled 2, omega calc, mapking v7, H&H dictionary, etc...
btw, Fitaly 3.5 VGA version screwed the Dopod 900 too, after i tried invoking or to set the fitaly keybard as default, virtual input keyboards cannot be called up by any applications.
so, the Universal is a great machine, but waiting for vendors to fix their apps for Windows Mobile 5
2) Windows Mobile 5 OS running @ 524 Mhz is soo choking slow... like the earlier Pocket PC slow down all over again. From hibernation to call pick up is soooo choked. Fubar! Big time
3) Battery life SUCKS big time... don't even ask me how long it'll last, i had half of the battery life drained during a dinner for casual browsing and email checking...
