I posted this in another thread. But the thread was originally talking about a different work around to fix the bluetooth disconnect issue. I'd like a few people to confirm ths with their handsfree equipment and bluetooth recievers.
I'm using:
WM2003SE 4.21.1088, build 15159.2.6.4
ROM: 1.42.00 WWE, 09/05/05
Radio: 1.13.00
ExtROM: 1.40.125
I'm not sure what patches from the 1.40.125 exteneded ROM don't apply anymore in the 1.42.00 ROM, so I left the extended ROM intact. I did remove battery watch and magic button from the extended ROM.
hard boot (try it without resetting everything)
Pair your headset
Open up the wireless manager
Turn on wireless
Turn off wireless...
The headset shouldn't disconnect.
This may also be why some people have a bluetooth disconnect problem and others don't. I rarely used wireless for anything so I never turned it on.
In an hour my battery dropped between 1 and 2 percent. Then another test showed 85% on the battery, bluetooth was still connected 40 minutes later with 85% still on the battery.
Can someone else confirm that this works for them?
