IR remote

I've tried several IR remote software but none of them i get working.
Can somebody help me with this.
My pda is the qtek 9100 here known as the wizard.

I'm looking for a remote for my television, dvd, etc.

oh yeah, i remember doing this with my XDA IIs as well..
it was a NO GO... couldnt record (or recive) the remortcontrol signals...

hmmm weired i suppose!Not really - these will be IRDA ports - IR remotes work on a diffrent frequency.... check out Girder.nl there will be some info around there to explain.

i used to use noviiremote on my magician works great, they are currently testing a new version for the wizard ;)
