well i wanna fix it today, pref not wait a month or three for them to fix/ send it back, i need it :( (i know probably not even a month but most things end up being longer than quoted in these scenarios)
how can i change my radio rom?
how can i make it writable?
are there any other ways other than using HimaUpgradeUt.exe???
thanks for your time!

Maybe somebody can create you an SD card with the ROM dumps on it (instructions in some other post on this forum) and send to you, so you can restore from there. Just my €0,02....

AFAIK you cannot force Radio ROM via SD card, only normal ROM.
btw. If the Radio update fails then your ROM chip is probably faulty and needs to be replaced

hi damnation,

i've seen your other post as well where you mentioned upgrading hte bootloader. pls. don't, it's not wise to do that & sure won't solve your radio install problem. if you insist, you may try it before visiting the repair center.

i'm uncomfortable giving an advice due to the seriousness of your problem but if it's my own himalaya, i would probably try out to format storage using buzz_lightyears storage.cpl tool & doc repartition using toenailed backup partition 0 tools or task 28 via mtty.

those tools, writeups, posts are available at buzzdev.net (http://buzzdev.net). the only advice i can give you is to backup your DOC & ROMS before trying anything.
