Why? Because it useless and it ocupies a line of space that could be used by a today plugin!!!
TrayDisplay is what you need!!! Built with ATL C++, it comes in two files:
HideTray: that makes tour system tray invisible;
DisplayTray: that makes tour system tray visible!!
It makes a shortcut on your \Windows\StartUp folder so that everytime you reset your PPC, it will hide the tray!
When the file is run, it makes it's job and then end's so that it doesn't stay in memory.
This file is not a patch, but an application!
Only tested with Windows Mobile 2005, don't know if will work with WM2003...
OK,
nice idea but doesn't work on W2003 SE, at least not on mine. Also no effect after soft-reset.

I know I've seen another tool for hiding top-&bottom bars somewhere on the web. Cannot remember where, but it had to do with 'xx% larger screen'. As I don't mind having the bars I didn't pay much attention to it. I specially like the top bar with date/time & spb gprs icon. But taste is personally. So you'll have to search yourself when you really want this.

He he...that's mildly spoken :lol: With WA2 & WAD ( WAD is WA2 dependent ) you have total, and I do mean total control of your today-screen(s) and yes. you can have more than one... :shock: Now you can have all your favorite today plug-ins in each their own screen, full screen ! You can make your own short-cuts to any application, and place it anywhere, and that's only the beginning. The possibilities are endless, please do take a look :wink:

WAD and WA2 are two master pieces that will breath new life into your Pocket PC. The UI will look stunning if you get good skins and graphics :).
Definetly agree with you, Flipside. Endless posibilities

The problem with these tools is they consume a lot of system resources and slow your machine down. :cry:

That's not entirely true anymore... :) Naturally the more you "fill" in, the more memory you lose, but it's def. not the program itself...But if you look at what you actually get here, the little memory you lose is a very small price to pay... ( I have like 16 different pages running, with dock and icons, plug-ins and text-objects, and the memory loss I can measure is app. 6 mb ) In my book that's nothing compared to what this program has to offer, my magician is almost stylus-free, and that's really neat when I'm in my car etc... :P

Can you show us a screenshot please? I like the idea of "stylus free". Anyways, here's mine.
