Set up TomTom Navigator with no problems at all. Set the GPS to COM Port 8, without the use of the GPS Control Panel Applet, and TomTom saw the GPS. Marvellous!! Was playing around with it for days in my room no problem...
Took it out the other day for a run, and the bloody thing crashed. Tried again, and the GPS needed re-pairing with the device. Paired ok, but cannot set the COM port... Every single port says 'port cannot be created'
The MS help on this suggests that the COM Port is already in use, if it comes back with this message...
My question is, how can I find out what is using what COM port, and potentially clear it??
