How do I uninstall these? I tried to remove via remove programs, but it failed. It says that some files are in use/read only.

Is it just that you can't find the option? Or that when you use the option it doesn't work?

do any of you guys can make SPP outgoing port working to enable activesync via bluetooth? As I said before in the post above, if I switch to bluesoleil stack, I can sync via bluetooth. I'm planning to use only one stack in my mini, since I don't need BT-PAN.

Btw, just to add, A2DP works great on mine :)

Hey everybody..
Just a small question.. I installed the lilttle program, but my headset isn't just there (pop-up menu @ default headset).. I read a few pages, so basically I just want a confirmation, more or less. Does streaming audio work with the logitech mobile express headset? more info about it can be found here:

On page #64, someone mentions that TCPMP will work with this bluetooth stack if it's renamed as WMplayer.

Can someone please give step by step instructions as to how I should do this.

I can stream music from windows media player, but I want to use TCPMP for streaming audio instead.

My Magician is the MDA Compact. Cheers.

Thank you for all the help I updated my radio and rom and also got my Oakley O'Rockr head set to send stereo by bluetooth.

The Oakley O'Rockr's are a great BT headset and stereo headset combines with the sunglasses, they only skip the first 5 seconds of every song with this stack. The only other problem I found with this BT stack is that sometimes it will not restart the music after recieving a phonecall.

Thank all of you for this great site. Cheers and New Years from Sunny Hawaii.

Cool, got it working at last with .avi videos....sweet.

Now I need help in streaming .acc audio from MP4 videos created with nero recode.

The MP4 videos play great on the MDA compact with .acc audio using TCPMP, but can't stream the audio to the A2DP headset.

I don't mind re-coding the videos to another audio setting (if thats all that needs to be done) but I would like to know why ,avi with mp3 audio will stream but MP4 video with .acc aduio will not.

just want to share on how i somehow removed the glitches with the sounds during playback of songs...

i've had a hard reset because of an annoying app, then when i reinstalled everything back, i didn't include the MS BT driver that comes with the extended_rom instead i install the BT_bchs_for_pocket_pc_ozone.armv4.cab immediately...
and i was amazed when i paired my iTech R35 clip, it plays smoothly with WMPlayer...

also i've modified this reg
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\WaveDev\Priorit y256
to 192(DWORD)

hope this helps...

...i just want to ask if anybody is experiencing any problem with GSPlayer or TCPMP using the rename trick...i'm having a little problem with regards to playing,it streams the first song then won't stream the second, then streams the third...but when i tap the second song for it to play, it streams to my clip...this also happens even before i did a hard reset...weird....

Well my friend.. the stack certainly works.. This stack has made my sweetheart's O2 mini sing to Sony Ericsson DS970 properly. I have seen that the stack works but the problem could be convoluted settings in O2 mini.. please sort O2 setting and it will work like magic.

The file is a .cab, you doesn't need to extract it, just activesync with your mini and place the file in my documents in the mini using explore button in activesync, the use file explorer in the mini and find the file in my documents, click on the file and it will install, follow the instructions on the mini screen.

Hope this helps you.

I may have been updated now, so you could always check the mortplayer site (you'll have to google it cause I don't know it).

Hello all,

just to share my experience with stereo Bluetooth patch.

- Bought a Flexus HS2020 in Media markt.
- Download and installed btaudio_810.zip and A2DPFix v1.0.zip
- soft reset.
- activate Bluetooth, and tick the streaming option on audio tab setting.
- check new stereo Bluetooth icon became active in the top of the screen.
- start WMP
- define in wmp middle button to toggle screen (screen became active again when changing music) or then use a old freeware called deltalock.
- choose and play mp3.

Findings:
- No cuts in the streaming, no tunes in the Reg.
- Menu in Portuguese, when the rom is in WWE
- cannot open a com port to use the GPS.
- Need to follow the exact seq.: remove WMP from memory ; activate Bluetooth ; start WMP

Note: With HS2020 is also possible to control WMP (forgot the protocol initials), so play/pause stop; next/previous ; volume in the clip.

Next steps:

find why cannot open outbound com port for the GPS, use to have com5

Assumptions:
rom: 1.12.00 wwe ; radio 1.12.10 ; extrom 1.12.186 wwe

Hope it helps world wide ...... and if somehow i repeat any findings, sorry magicians

2. The headset is paired with the phone.

Please suggest what additional steps i need to do to make this work.

Hello,
i´ve installed the ad2p Bluetooth Stack, and it works fine with my motorola ht820, but when i start streaming audio and i forgot to turn on the headset, the connection fails. This would be no problem, but when i turn on the headset, my magician cannot connect to the headset until i make a soft-reset. I there any posibility to di a kind of reset of the bluetooth stack, WITHOUT soft-resetting the device?

Well I went down to my local Spint store the other day and was surprised to see the Motorola S9 on display. Ten minutes later was at home charging my new Stereo Bluetooth headset and install the new bluetooth stack (from this thread). After a full change, synced my imate JAM with the Motorola S9 and hit play in WMP. Sweet streaming music. All buttons on the S9 work properly except for the Play/paude button (which closes WMP rather than stopping the song.

Sprint is selling the unit for $130 plus tax, but I know that buy.com has the unit for $85 including shipping. I'll be ordering one from there and return the one I have to Sprint (only purchased it to make sure it would work with my JAM.

Also, I've recently replaced my Jam's exterior casing to a Black one I got on ebay. It's amazing how great the new casing and the S9 match, it almost seems as if they were purchased together.

I have severe problems when using my Bluetooth GPS together with A2DP streaming.
As soon as I switch on my Bluetooth GPS and it is recognized by my Magician, streaming stops and will only start again if I soft reset the Magician.
So whenever I want to listen to music after using Tomtom 6.03, I have to soft reset? And can't use both of them at the same time, as I did before with the audio jack?

Am I doing something wrong?

Use Mortplayer. Once you install Mortplayer, rename the file in the Mort directory to WMPlayer.exe.

That allows Mortplayer to stream music to the headset and resolves the connection issue. Music plays seamlessly, and all the buttons work. The only problem I have is a phone lock up after about 90 minutes. This is a consistent problem.

Hi there,
it's since the last year that this LONG thread is running, but it's many many months that you all are talking 'bout only one thing: compatibility within ad2p headsets.

Why can't we build a specific wiki section with a compatibility chart of all those headsets??

HI
Can you tel me where can i dawnload this patch?

thanks!

Pros:
-This turns WM2003 enabled devices into AD2P-enabled devices. Which is not even available on WM2005 yet
-Sound quality is good and with a fully charged headset it is pretty smooth
-Adds other cool features such as BT printing, Audio, Image push, FTP...
-Once configured it looks pretty cool and generally pairing, resuming pairing and listening work smoothly

Cons
-Cannot uninstall it easily without hard reboot
-#it ONLY WORKS WITH WMP. The reason is that hardcoded into the patch is a link to WMP. There is not way as far as I know, without stealing and editing the source file at Cambridge Silicone to do it.
-WMP sucks, each songs disconnect the device and reconnects, sound quality good but browsing songs is horrible compared to Mortplayer, PocketMusic etc...
-Pause key does not work
-On low batteries of the headst (R35), headset disconnects

So I wouldstill recommend it but WMP made me very angry

Would still love to know the answer because once this patch is applied, the BT is changed from the original MS version.

Question is, What is it changed to ?

Phew... I read all the 84 pages of this thread. Here is a summary of my status

. The fix enables AD2P audio streaming on my I-mate Jam

. By default it works only with WMPlayer

. I can use Mortplayer if I rename it to WMPlayer.exe

. The renaming trick did not work with PocketMusic 5.0.1

. I get skips every 20 secs or so, and the

. I can fix the skips using the AD2P patch in this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=284974), however the battery consumption makes it unusable

. As mentioned in the same thread, I can use Task Manager to fix the skip as well. However, that often causes my today screen to freeze. That's not ideal either.

. I can't get AD2PToggle (http://www.teksoftco.com/index.php?section=freeware) to recognize the headset, but I can live without that.

Notes on hardware:
. rom 1.11, radio 1.11

. Phillips VOX 340 headset, controls works too

If anyone has made any other progress, I'd like to hear, please!

I installed "bchs_for_pocket_pc_ozone[1].armv4.cab" on my HTC TYTN II (Windows Mobile 6), but it is not functioning. I am able to tick the audio streaming, but I am unable to select the default device of my car (as headset) "Ford Auto" bluetooth.

Initially no negative side effects was detected, but after 6 hours or so, all sound is gone from my phone. Even after uninstalling bcs_for_pocket_pc_ozone (just noticing from the file name it is intended for arm devices, which is not my CPU type) I do not get any sound. When starting up my windows media player I now get the same message all the time:

This programme requires a module from an unidentified ...... (translated from dutch) .... name: "htp_ui_ext.dll" , locatio: blank

Anybody has this problem before? I assume that uninstalling above cab does not clean up and reset the pocket pc nicely and there is still some references to this dll. Is there anybody that can help me to get my sound back?

Ps. is there an other cab, that I can use to stream my sound to bluetooth device?

Thanks a ton,

Hello,

A have a Qtek S100 with 1.13.00 WWE Rom and a Samsung BT Mono Headset (WEP300) http://uk.samsungmobile.com/accessory/WEP300

With this new stack should i be able to redirect the device sound from the device speaker to the Headset, so i can hear the TomTom voice instructions from the Headset? Above some speed, with the car windows opened i can badly hear the voice instructions. I have tried programs like BT Audio Router, etc without any success.

Thanks in advance and sorry for my poor english.

yo guys i downloaded and tried it on my mini O2, and works fine.
Mind you, is there an update or a fix which will make it possible to share more file types using bluetooth? files like applications? video files? mp3??
because its really annoying that infrared has to be used.

Hey Guys,
this stack works nice. I used O2 XDA Mini with Jabra BT 8010 headset.
Only issues are that
1. There is a short delay between songs.
2. Only works with Mp3 files.
3. For next track function one has to create a playlist first.
4. On pressing the pause button the WMP closes fully.

If some one has solutions to these then please do help me.

I have been using this program for over a year now and i've learned that to transmit your sound succesfully you need to make sure that your audio sample rate is 44kHz (which is common for MP3 files). I can even watch movies/music videos on my XDA mini with my bluetooth earphones.

Hi all

I'm seeking help like everyone else.

Not too long ago i came to this forum and found the a2dp add in cab file, which i loaded onto my o2 xda2 mini. The file worked well, with a little bit of pausing etc but hey i'll live. it was an amazingly easy process.

my pda freaked out a few weeks ago and i did a hard reset but couldnt load my backup file, so i am now attempting to reinstall the .cab file again. this time i can't get it to work. poo. i drop it onto my pda and it extracts but i no longer get the extra printer, audio and file sharing tabs in my bluetooth settings.

any suggestions? i can't think of anything significant that has changed on my pda that would prevent the cab file from installing properly. this is killing me. i must admit that i dont know a great deal about this stuff, so i sort of plod along blindly and usually get by.

as an aside, i just want to thank all the people who posted their useful info on here for me to find, it made it really easy last time. i should have written that up last time but im a lazy bugger.

Hi all,

I can c the movie with sound via i-tech s38 bluetooth headset. :P

It is really related to 44kHz. You need to convert your movie/clip with 44kHz. I tried to use MS WMencoder and choose "CD quality audio (CBR)" for audio code, it's working.

Hello there,
I'm using i-Tech R35 and already install the cab file for a2dp. installation ok, but still can't stream audio thru it, i think this must something to do with the 44kHz things. Can you help to guide me on how to adjust the 44kHz things...Thanks

Hi All!
Finally I managed to stream audio file to my i-TechR35 and the sound was so good. Thanks to those who contribute marvelous ideas. Unfortunately I can't continuously play the playlist in WMP10. After the first song the connection seems automatically loss and I need to start the player manually. Means that in my playlist I can only hear the first song and it disconnect when the 2nd song start...why this is happening? and one more thing, everytime my magician try to stream the audio it will delay about 10 second.

Anybody facing this same problem or anybody have any solution method to solve the problem? Plz...TQ!

Hi all,
After register 'bchs_for_pocket_pc_ozone[1].armv4.cab', it works well.

However, I found that my O2 mini cannot start playing music by pressing on the BT headset.

Are there the way to activate the function or it's the limitation of the hardware?

Please share your idea.
Thank you.

For those who have installed the driver and experienced no additional pages in bluetooth menu but but just a mute phone. I have got a solution for you...

that is...

just install the driver in the default directory (you have probably installed the driver in storage or somewhere else)

Got me so long to figure this out (wasn't documented in any way)

Forced me to downgrade from my favorite 203tx WWE back to 112WWE to figure out the solution, and upgraded back to 203tx WWE...

Oh well...

I have the old i-mate jam, and i have been able to play divx movies on it with sound through the Jabra bt8040 headset.

I use coreplayer and rename the exe to wmplayer.exe, so the bluetooth driver will see it. Coreplayer is the best player for ppc btw.

Any audio you want to play through the bluetooth must be 44k Sample rate stereo 16bit Res and non-varable encoded 128k, or it wont work with the bluetooth driver. This includes Mp3.

So i just use Virtualdub to convert all my divx movies to this sound spec and reduce the video resolution to 320x240. You end up with a smaller file and it uses less cpu time to play on the imate jam, and it still looks good. It takes me 2-3mins to encode every 1/2hr of video, with a Q6600.

Sometimes virtualdub makes the video and audio out of sync when u re-encode then, Coreplayer has a setting to re-sync audio.

I loaded the bluetooth stack, and everything works fine! I also paired up my printer (Epson RX680 & BT adapter) with the PDA as well. Pocket Word and Excel, and other programs do not have a printing / print selection. I went to Handango and found only 3 apps for printing through the web stuff off the browser. Is there any way that I can print Word, Excel, or Adobe reader (PDF) files via this bluetooth stack?

I tried to quickly browse through +80 pages of this thread and couldn't seem to locate any on bluetooth printing support.

Update: I did try to install Jetcet print (Only works with WM5 and higher), and tried Printboy. Printboy requires you to have a internet connection. Tried Printboy with the Active Sync., but doesn't that defeat the purpose of having bluetooth? I could have easily transferred the file onto my Desktop and then printed from there in the first place.

Thanks in advance,
Tankobu

I have a wing running the 7.0 touchflo rom. The rom came with btaudio but that was failing. So I installed this stack. I can pair up with my headset and it loads hands free and stereo services. Then I go to the audio tab and check the box for stream to headset. Then i close and open up WM player. It comes out of my speakers and nothing out of my headset. I checked the reg Dword value for regestry and it says 2000001. I have a htc wing and bluespoon headset. I have tested out headset on pc and they work ....

hello,

yes, i know bluesoleil - i already used it (PAN) with a PC PAN server - and it did work.
but now i have a bluetooth router (from siemens) - that offers PAN - but for some reason it does not work with that router. i assume it's a DHCP problem or something like that.

that's why i would like to try another stack.

I just bought a stereo headset for my iMate Jam. I know it is not a new device, but the mobile carrier just replaced the motherboard and battery. The device is running better than ever. Can anyone tell me how to install this CAB file?

UPDATE: Nevermind. I search and seached, and it seems that you all know this, but rarely mentioned it in the forum. I found someone's post at last.

For anyone else that is curious (or, a neophyte like me at this stuff), simply copy the CAB file to a directory on the device and open/click it.
