Okay my i-mate Jam has decided to send two SMSs for every one that I send (sometimes)... Has anyone got any idea as to why?

Things i've checked:
I only have the one SMS service centre number and it is the correct one.
Checked my Sent items folder - it only has one copy of the sent item with only one "To" number.
The time/date only shows the last one it sent (there can be a delay of a few hours between sends for some unknown reason.... although usually they are within minutes.)
O2 say my machine could be faulty - this would imply a rom issue!! Currently at 1.11.00 WWE /1.11.00/1.11.179 WWE for Rom/Rad/Ext - I would think a rom issue is unlikely.

NEOne any idea's

Thanks.

If you have SPB Pocket Plus or any other task management software that closes the applications when you press the X button, make sure that the Messaging application is included in the "exclusion" list. You cannot close Messaging before you recieve the "Message Sent" notification, otherwise the message get sent twice.

And yes as elyl said, please use the search button before asking!

Sorry - I did try a search using "SMS Multiple" - and it did turn up some results, but for some unknown reason clicking on any of the results just sent the browser into a void. So after 3 days of trying - I just had to post.

Thanks for the response kta - I def have SPB installed - will exclude the Messenging App.
