xda 2 dead

Ok i have a big problem,my xda2 wont start up,just stays on the same start up screen,tried a soft/hard reset no differnce,i know this sounds stupid but to me it seems like its got some kind of virus as once it did startup but had a lot of rubbish on the screen and then just locked up,please any ideas ould be appreciated.

try resetting with the record & camera buttons, and also try flashing a new ROM.

failing that, things are probaly worse than they appear

Thx for your reply,unfortunatly i am away in Finland until next wed,i have tried a hard reset and now i get on the scren serial v1.01,does this mean its been reset and now just neds a new rom flashing onto it,if so i guess this is done by docking the xda when i get home and what uploading a new rom onto it,any idea where i get and which rom i use?

yup, need new ROM.

if you're not interested in anything fancy, then get the ROM from your provider (www.my-xda.com for the XDA2) others, Google for it.

if you want something like WM2005 or 2003SE, then get it from this site via FTP, or buzzdev.net
