fixed ip with active sync

Hi!
I use wm05, active sync 4.1 final and zone alarm is my firewall on pc. When my firewall is on I can't sync my device, so I tried to allow the tcp/ip of my ba on my firewall. The problem is when I enter a fixed ip on my device on the remote- ndis host it still doesn't work. So my question is if the remote- ndis is the right place to manage this. If there is another way to fix this problem I would like to know it if someone has got already some experience in this issues. Thanks!

I had the same problem and found out that I had to manually allow 2 or 3 files (wcesmgr, wcescomm and that rapi dll) from activesync in my firewall. I think that for 1 file firewall asked me if i wan't to give permission, but that wasn't enough because firewall never asked me for other AS files - it blocked them by default.

i had the same problem at first it was solved when i changed te connection type into trusted instead of internet.
