Ok after much surfing I located the correct software to unhide and unlock the Extended Memory and it works just great. However now that I have it unlocked following the instructions on the WM05 upgrade info, it says to increase the Storage size to 60MB. I thought this would be done by moving the slider in the Memory Viewer, however it just springs right back to 43MB after 2 secconds. Please can some one tell me what I am doing wrong ????.
Also I have a seperate question. Can anyone tell me at what point in this upgrade procedure is the "Point of No Return" reached. IE at what point will my WM2003 cease to work correctly. Because as of now I only wish to take things up to that point, untill I have done some further investigating.
It seems as though the Orange service provider has a secret pasword for GPRS which has to be re-entered when WM05 is installed. Orange at this time are not being very forthcoming with the password. They just tell me that the phone could be broken and I should return it for repair. DUH..... IDIOT PHONE COMPANY, what a suprise !!.
