View Full Version : No New Mail alert if screen is closed ?

On my XDA Exec

If the screen is closed (towards the KB) and a new email comes thru, I get no warning (I set the warnigns for light/buzz/sound)

if the screen is closed in the upright position away form the keyboard .. I get the warning

is this normal ?

That doesn't seem to happen on my Jasjar.. I get all my notifications while the lid is closed. Sorry.

Doesn't sound normal to me, I get a warning all closed and in my pocket.
I have mine checking pop3 mail every 5mins using GPRS if this helps.

Yeah, I seent mine back for a replacement,, too many problems

How do you specify GPRS to check email ? (instead of 3G I assume ?)
