Someone please help, I keep getting "error connection t

error: getconnectiontype - an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. error getting connection type. this happens when i try to burn a new rom into the xda. i have been reading for the past 2 days to no avail. i even went and bought an sd r/w usb. the other issue is that no matter what i try, i can not get it to unlock the sim. my wife liked my ppc so i bought her one and i am trying to get it together for her for x-mas. i have the same prob with my xda as well/

I too experience the same issue when attempting to flash the ROM on on my PW10b1. If anyone can provide insight, I would be very grateful.

so did flashing using a sd card help ?

there are no tools to unlock sims cards the tools unlock the phone so it's not locked to a sim card
some sim cards are incompatible
