XDAtools problem

Hi

I am trying to write an rom file with the extension nb1(original vodafone rom) to my SD card using XDAtools. Everything starts of fine and then it gets to a certain point and tells me there is a bad sector. I have tried 4 different SD cards with the same results. Is this a Rom issue or perhaps an XDAtools issue.
