3G and WiFi

When im using the ole IE to explore the tnternet, how can i tell if im using 3G or WiFi, if the WiFi is connected?? dont wanna find out ill have a huge bill due to unknown 3G usage!!!

Check the title bar. If you see an icon with a 'G' or 'U' on its own, you're not connected to anything. If its got a double headed arrow, its connected to wifi. If it has a double headed arrow and a 'G' icon, then you're connected to GRPS/3G.

Click the icon to see more information and a button to disconnect if applicable.
