MDA Compact II unlocking

hi folks, thanks in advance ,

i bought a mda compact , an sucessfully unlocked it with software from your ftp...ty.... So i upgraded this morning to a MDA Compact II, model no. pm200 and tried to unlock with the same tool , and it says device not recognised pm200.

i know its running windows mobile 5, any help to free the simlock would be greatfully recieved , all the best , oblivious. :lol: :twisted:

Download lokiwiz.zip - HTC Wizard Unlocker v0.1

VERSION 0.1 !!!!!

follow these instructions:
1 - Unzip lokiwiz.zip to somewhere in your computer
2 - Copy EnableRapi.cab to your Charmer / PM200
3 - Execute the EnableRapi.cab in your phone. Wait for it to finish
4 - Guarantee that your phone is connected via ActiveSync with the computer
5 - Execute lokiwiz.bat and follow the instructions on your screen...

I've just unlocked my MDA Compact II with it, and it works.

Just wanted to confirm that i've had sucess unlocking my mda compact II (htc charmer). Followed shoptillyadrop instuctions and they worked a treat. Thanks for help.

Only, one comment to your instuctions - line 2 you wrote wizard rather than charmer.

No,

the Phone will remain unlocked. If you want to re-lock your phone, the same tool will do the job.

Hello. I had problem with my Mda Compact II T-Mobile UK. After I input Pin ti told that: Data Crashed conntact Your Service. I went to imei-check.co.uk and payed 20 GBP and in 5 minutes my Mda Works as a new one. Its the best way to solve this problem and problem with simlock too. Best regards !!!

A lot of people have unlocked their Charmer with out any problem. And there are at least two (including myself) who has flashed the Charmer ROM as well. Good if you can list out your specification and procedure that you have used that messed up your Charmer.

Usually, when you have the error message "Data Crashed conntact Your Service Provider", it means that the IMEI area has been messed up. And, the only solution to this problem seem to be to go to the imei-check.co.uk

Hey guys.

I have just got a Tmobile MDA Compact 2.

I cannot unlock it though.

I have tried V0.1 and V0.2b.

When my simcard (O2) is in the phone, it just asks you to enter the unlock code, and won't let you access any menus.

So I remove the SIM, install the EnableRapi.cab and then insert the Sim card. And click lokiwiz.bat on the PC whilst Activesync is running, I select U (have tried C aswell on V0.2b) and it doesn't show any errors, the phone resets, but the lock is still present.

Does anyone have any ideas ???

Hi Guys!

I have followed the instructions carefully und copied the file EnableRapi.cab to my charmer, executed it there, made sure that Charmer is connected via ActiveSync, opened the file lokiwiz.bat on my PC, and waited until Charmer rebooted!

After reboot I inserted my SIM Card and the Result was a window that asked me after typing in my PIN for a Network Code!

I have tried all the Versions on the Unlock page, none worked! I have deactivated my AntiVirus Programms and Firewalls!

My Charmer is (still) locked from T-Mobile Austria! All I receive on my PC in the same Folder is an Output File called "Unlocked" which I cannot open with a program on my PC!

Thank you very much in advance for your help as otherwise I have to unlock it via Internet and this would cost me 30 BP!

lokiwiz probably wont work on AKU2 roms because the OS is more protected. check your versions, Windows Build 14847.2.0.0 is AKU2.

I used Lokiwiz03 yesterday with my Charmer. The Charmer is the german MDA Compact II with T-Mobile Netlock. It takes only some minutes. It was very easy to use-no problems.

Hi everyone,

Not only am I new to this website but I am also very new to technology ( A bit dim some would say... !) and I want to unlock my MDA Compact II. The problem I am having is I need an "Idiot's guide" rather than the steps put on here. I know this sounds lame but I just don't get it!

I've managed to copy the zip folder onto my desktop. I can synchronise my phone to my pc but anything more is double dutch to me. Would any kind soul out there take the time to give me the instructions in the simplest terms to allow me to unlock my handset which is currently locked to T-Mobile.

I'm sure by using this handset I'll gain a better understanding of the technology but right now I've never felt so thick!

lokiwiz latest version (3 or 0.3b, can't remember) works on the currently (Mar'07) latest ROM (they have only released ONE ROM update after MDA Compact 2 launched) from T-Mobile Uk. I've done that myself.

no worrys lol now i have a new problem i can charge my phone but not connect to my pc lol i plug in my 5 pin miniusb lead and nutting not even detected the other one i have starts charging the phone lol any ideas guys?

I tried with Lokiwiz03a - it read the unlock code but the gadget didn't accept it.

i bought two used phones from ebay, and I thought I had unlocked them first, but now that I'm in Europe, It doesn't work with any other sim cards. I'm desperately trying to get them unlocked. i've used all lokiwiz versions and with the first one when i type in the letter U (for unlock) it quits the whole screen. and lokiwiz3 tells me that it can't find the path. I'm desperate to get it done asap.

I dont understand this at all but started the bootloader procedure. It is on my computer but doesn't appear to be on my phone.

What shall I do next?

I make the settings now it sync and i use ALL HTC tool with HTC ELF as followed,
1. Connect your Phone and establish Activesync Connection.
2. Install 'Cert_SPCS.cab' and 'EnableRapi.cab' on your device.( Copy them to your devide
and run).
3. Run 'Touch_Unlock.exe'.
4. The eight-character code is your Unlock code.

since it was eight time mistaken ,i wait for some hours then i enter codes and PM200 was sucsecifully unlocked
