Change ROM dopod 838 - Chinese to English

I am working in Taiwan. In here all the shops sell Dopod 838 with Chinese OS (WM5). They don’t have English one. I suppose to buy one and flash ROM in order to change into English .
Did anyone having same idea before? Can some one give me some tips?
Suggestion will be appreciated
