Red light & flashing screen?

I have and o2 XDA (wallaby) that will not turn on. When in cradle the battery light is red and after a short while the screen starts to flash (white) on and off. Anyone had this issue before or got any helpful suggestions?

Yes,

i had that problem before it the battery either its completely dead ( meaning no longer chargeable ) or its not making contact with the main board, either way you'll have to open it up.
