Hi All,
I can't decide which case to get for my XDA EXEC.
I would like to use it on my belt occasionaly, so one with a belt clip or loop would be preferred.
From your experiences, which case is the best to go for ?
Thanks.

The t-mobile 6315 case is the best I tried until now (my 3rd for the Universal). It is a holster type, as in, you carry it on your belt and take the Universal out to use it.
It is a surprisingly good fit, and it is very easy to take the device out and put it back in, at the same time, it is very safe when it is sitting on your belt.
The guy I bought it from at ebay has 2 left
http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-HP-iPAQ-OEM-LEATHER-CASE-POUCH-6310-6315-6340-6365_W0QQitemZ5840044486QQcategoryZ15036QQrdZ1QQcm dZViewItem
And it costs you 1/4 of anything else you are going to buy out there.

atekant,
I looked up the dimensions of the iPAQ 6315 and compared them to the JasJar. Here they are:
iPAQ JasJar
118.872 mm 127.7 mm
74.93 mm 81 mm
18.542 mm 25 mm
So based on the demensions posted by HP and imate, the JasJar is larger than the 6315. Since I'm used to seeing demensions in inches/feet, I have no idea if these differences are significant. Do you find that the case is too small? Did you have to modify it? Because if not, I may end up purchasing one from www.casesonline.com, but get a slightly different color combo than the one you found on ebay. Thank you for any help.

This same guy has 52 under a different listing, very quick delivery BTW.

weather, the fit is perfect, not tight and not loose, the Uni just goes in & out easily, yet the clip is tight on the belt. This is actually near identical to the HP case (larger one) selling for U$49 retail.

I had the same questions when ordering it, and I was quite sure it would end up being too tight, but it is not tight at all.
The front, back, and the flip cover (with magnetic closure) is leather (I mean fake leather like substance, but not bad). The bottom, and the sides are elastic bands (about 1 inch wide) and have enough give to let the Universal slide in, and at the same time hold it tight enough.
You flip open the top and the case opens like a change purse would so you can slide your fingers in to grab the device.
I have stopped looking for a case for the Universal, that is how happy I am with it.

Wow, that was a fast reply. Thank you. It sounds like I may the specific case that you bought (with the elastic bands on the side). So I might hold off on buying the one from casesonline. One last question..... Is there a slot to hold SD cards? Thanks again.

I got mine yesterday. First when I open it, I felt :( as it seems it was made from not such a high quality material.
But when I try to use it, I was extremelly happy.
It was indeed made for the Universal! It fits very well, and very comfortable to put in the Universal and take it out. The belt clip is very nice as well. Finally, I reach the point where I can stop hunting for a perfect case for my Universal. I have tried few before: the original case that I modified with a belt clip, the metal case, and a PDA keyboard case. And this one is the best and I'm going to use it with my Universal from this point forward.
I feel upset with imate or HTC though, if they can sell a device with $1000 price, they should be able to include such a perfect case that only cost $5.
I guess this case is just perfectly made for Universal.

Here are some pictures of my Universal case for the benefits of all of you. Like I said, it simply fits the Universal nicely. Look at the bottom cut, this allows you to take out the Universal easily. And I have no more problem with the stylus flying out when pulling the Universal out of the case (the problem with the original Universal case). Best value for the price ($5 plus tax and shipping, around $14) that you can get.

Hi,
strange that there is - still - no separate "carrying case" with a holster available for the i-mate JASJAR / Qtek 9000 other than cases offering complete insertion of the device thus being forced also to work with the device inserted.
Good news:
Expansys will be offering one, watch out here
http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=125516
Bad news:
It is EUR 53 here in Europe, which is quite a lot :-(
Second: Expansys is not really renowned for keeping the price it announces before availability of product, neither do they keep dates of delivery. (This product was first announced as "available before Christmas", then 23 Dec., then 2 Jan., now 6 Jan. in Europe, which is a public holiday in many countries here...)
Expansys says the manufacturer is "Premier Systems", though Google does not seem to know a manufacturer under this name.
Obviously this is just some fantasy brand producing for Expansys ???
Does anyone know who is producing this case or hides behind "Premier Systems" ?
(Strange enough that none of the big case manufacturers: Covertec, Krusell, ... offers such a case for the device.)
As my last PDA was an iPAQ 4700, for which I purchased the original holster case, I tried it out for my Qtek 9000 (identical with the im-mat JASJAR).
Almost fits perfectly :-)
(Bad: Now my iPAQ, which is still a cute device, however lacking GSM connectivity, is "naked"...)
The 6315 is similar in size to the hx4700 afair, though I never saw the case one guy described here (attached photos a few posts downwards).

Ok, there we go. The back of the case.
Its a belt clip, not a loop. Very comfortable, its not moving around, not too lose, not too tight, just perfect.
Originally I was thinking to buy that XaX case as well, but its too expensive ($50?) and there is an opening on top intended for the headphone, but I dun like it considering if there is a rain drop into it, that's it.

You can get a case that looks to be the same as the case in lie_ui's picture in the UK by buying it from eBay UK using buy it now. Total cost including delivery £6.99 if you bid or £7.99 using 'buy it now'. - I have no connection to the seller - just trying to help :D

Hi,
cktlcmd: I want to order the same pouch, but how is your experience with it? Does the universal fit? And how tight is the fit? Because on the piel frama site the max dimensions were smaller than the universal.
I also want to know the tightness of fit, 'cause maybe it's an idea to order the large one, because of possible larger batteries (see this thread on that subject:http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=28616&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0)

My case is extra cheap. I had an old universal camera pouch that had a belt loop. This pouch is made of elastic fabric. By simply pushing my HTC case into this pouch, it expands as needed and grips tightly enough that the HTC case doesn't come out when I pull the phone out.
I put some 3x5 cards in the case so you can see the thickness as the Exec is black.
It may not be a perfect case, but it's what I had laying around and it works great.

I just got the case, I have to admit the case they recommended was a bit tight, lucky for me it fits my TH55, so I am re-ordering the LARGE size for my EXEC as I hate to tug and pull it out, it might go off flying on its own.

Hey,
I was checking the piel frama site and noticed that the only difference between the big and medium sized universal pda cases was that the big one is 10 mm taller. That sucks, because the tight fit is most likely due to the thickness of the device. So, I'm still not sure what is a good idea to buy.
btw, I came across this other pouch case from proporta. http://www.proporta.com/F02/PPF02P05.php?t_id=1354&t_mode=des
This looks ok to me too, although compared to piel frama case, the piel frama case looks sturdier.

The proporta case you showed above does not provide protection from above, it seems. I'd stick with Piel Frama case. I'll let you know how the BIG SIZE Piel Frama case fits on my EXEC. I already ordered one.

8th February 2006, 04:52 AM
OK, I just got the BIG SIZE Piel Frama case. I can definitely say that the Big size does not fit the Universal very well. It is bigger in thickness and not the width. So I can basically recommend to get the MEDIUM size case for the Universal, the one they suggested in the first place, even though it is a tight fit, I assume with time it will loosen up.

I'm really at a loss, in fact last night I spent about 2 hours trying to decide which one I wanted. I need one with a belt clip of some kind, but I'm not too keen on a 360 degree swivvle job as I believe this would be more prone to malfunction.
I nearly bought this one: http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/7866.htm
but wondered if anyone else has got it? I like the idea of it being horiztontal and it being a sturdy belt clip rather than a detachable one.
I also saw this one: http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/8075.htm
as I like the way it protects the edges of the phone and looks very sturdy...but there is no beltclip.
This one: http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/7749.htm
has a beltclip but looking at it in more detail, if it were to malfunction and drop there doesn't appear to be too much protection of the phone. In fact some of the supports look a little weak. At least the others cover nearly the whole phone should it be dropped.
I don't like this one at all: http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/8407.htm
Large area remains exposed (though through plastic) and the clip looks very weak.
Can anyone share quickly their experiences with any of these as this is doing my nut in!
Cheers

Thanks, cktlcmd. I agree in that the build quality and materials on the PF ones look by far the nicest, but there's no belt clip of any kind. I'm still leaning towards the first one on my list, but as they're out of stock til 17/02 I decided to wait and see what else I could find.
Argh!!!! If o2 had provided a decent case to begin with, this wouldn't be necessary.

I tried to use my XDA Exec without a case to carry in my jacket pocket - and the size and bulk was not a problem at all. As soon I used the standard HTC pretend cheap leather case the bulk was too much. Anyone have any experince with a pouch like the HTC case but a lot thinner?

I also found it easy to keep in my pocket, but alas, in Australia, its so ......'in hot you just dont wear a jacket except in the two months of winter when it might drop to say 15 degrees during the day, and heaven forbid 10 degrees C at night. Try wearing loose fitting shorts and it starts pulling the buggers down.
I actually purchased the Krussel just recently following a 2 month wait. I was really "upset" (nicely nicely nicely, play nice keep blood pressure down) about the time delay, but finally got it.
Overall I am quite happy with it, I got the leather belt hoop as well for an extra few bucks, so that I just keep the leather belt hoop on, and just take the jj off the hoop without needing the bulky clip always attached, and its easy and flexible. It connects and disconnects easily, and the phone answer buttons are always point upwards and visible.
The clip function of the krussel also gave me the ability to purchase the car kit which allowed me to place a little tiny screw into my dash with a "hook" feature matching the krussel standard, thus I can move from the car, disconnect from my belt, hang it onto my car "hooK", drive around answer my calls etc, then transfer from the car hook back to my belt clip easily.
The other minor incidental benefit I like of the case is the semi distorted balancing that the case applies so the phone buttons always face upwards, but this then provides it a slightly lower hang downwards so when you bend over (not for the soap), it doesnt dig in to the overhanging belly and sits more comfortably if you do wear it whilst in a car without to much extra rub or pressure from the seatbelt, its generally just more comfortable. This could also be attributed to the belt hoop and not using a clip.
The clips also tend to protrude it out further and make it look even bigger than it actually is.
I still keep the "clip on" handy in case I am out and about without a belt, but never had to use it yet.
The plastic screen you refer to allows quick and easy viewing of the pop ups and dialogue boxes when in PDA mode, and if you push a little harder, can use the PDA mode through the plastic. If you clam it closed, then it still looks ok with silver, but a bit more "obvious" than the discrete "black" all over look which is just the disadvantage of the silver of the JJ style versus the O2 which i think is black so it wouldnt stand out as much.
I think the clips and add ons of the krussel have a life time guarantee and do recommend if buying the krussel and you tend to wear a belt a lot, to buy he belt hoop.
If I was to note one thing that I was a little disappointed with would be the lack of credit card pockets, but when I look back on experience, all the credit card slots and business cards and SD card slots that I had on cases with the XDAII added so much extra bulk, that I think it became bigger than the JJ and case package I have now.
There is room to slide the credit card and a drivers license in behind the phone but you have to unclip, open all the way, then rummage your fingers in around the back to access, so handy if you are only doing it say once or twice a week, but painful if its once or twice a day.
All the buttons are easily accessible, and the charger fits whilst in the case just fine.
Its a bit tight to start but is loosening up a bit now being leather, and the clips to keep it in place when enclosed are firm.
It has a plastic cover over the keyboard, but there is no pressure or push to close it over the plastic, and there is no real distortion or difficulty using the keys with the plastic.
I didnt buy it for the safety function, it was to be able to keep my hands free whilst walking around in tight jeans, or loose shorts or in times when I dont have pockets at all. I dont think many of the cases provide much "safety" from a good solid drop onto the corner, but a gentle drop was always going to be survived by the JJ anyway due to its clam style.
I still kind of like it, but didnt get to use any other specific cases for others.
My running feedback if anybody would like more information, pictures, or anything let me know and I can see what I can do.

I have not seen any thin pouch cases. I guess, your best solution are the silicone cases. I myself are interested about those silicon cases. My only concern is if the cut-outs correspond nicely to the actual positions.

I bought the Brando side opening case. Although it does put the tiniest of pressure on the hinges it does fit well and protect the unit. I think the leather will squash a bit after a few eeks so making it less of a strain anyhow. For the money it's well worth it. The only thing is that all the cases make an already large phone even bigger!

I have been using a slipper case with belt clip from EBCases.com and love it! It is a pre-production unit but it works exactly how I wanted it to.
It is a little different than the other companies cases in that it holds the phone in PDA (portrait) mode while in the case and has a flip top cover hinged at the top. The hinge on the back of the case is low enough to allow the camera to be used without removing the device. It provides great protection and I love being able to leave it in PDA mode to make best use of the phone and quick access to pda functions.
EB does not have the case on their website yet but if you contact them they can let you know the status of getting one.

I have the aluminium case, and had the Piel Frama. I BROKE MY SCREEN with teh Piel Frama.. nice case but uselss as far as protection.
The Aluminium case is a slight pain, but holdsmy MDA well. IT has also protected it from two falls of 3-4 feet onto a road surface.
I would like something like the Piel Frama though but with a belt clip. I dont like carrying my MDA in my pocket.

How does the belt clip work with this thing? I don't see a clip on it, but in the ad is says it "comes with a clip"?

The clip attaches to the 'bulge' on the back using a peg that is screwed through from the inside and attached with a plastic lug. I havent used the belt clip as i dont like having my phone hanging on my trousers but it seems fairly stable.

Has anyone tried this case:
http://www.noreve.com/brand/Qtek/product/Etui_cuir_Qtek_9000_-_HTC_universal_-_i-Mate_Jasjar_Tradition_-.html
It looks interesting, but I wonder how securely it holds the Universal in place. It appears as though it does not have anything across the top of the keyboard to hold it, unlike the Piel Frama which has the plastic screen.
I would hope the sides would be strong and/or "grippy" enough to hold it.
Anyone?

adamelphick,
Can you use it in PDA mode? How thick is the plastic? It is hard plastic?
I have silicon case (very thin silicon) and with the front silicon piece attached to my Universal, it can't be used in the PDA mode unless I removed the front part. So I only use the lower part of the silocon case to cover the main body of the Universal and leave the screen piece without any cover.
Is it the same case with this plastic case? Can you take a picture of it in PDA mode? Thanks.

after buying several cases i found this one.
it holds the qtek 9000 very well. the case is padded inside(soft lining) and has a hard bottom, your qtek will not be sqeezed if you bump into something.
a+ for me
You didn't say where you got it from!

Gordo

daveke0201,
Where did you get your case, I think it looks nice. I have the piel frama pouch case which is nice, but is a hassle to use in combination with my silicone case (really can't live without it). Maybe this case could be usefull. I like the way yours looks better than the Xax one.

Im using this when its in my bag, or in my jacket (can't have it falling or bumping :))
http://www.pdahut.com/store/files/thumbs/t_17240.jpg
For more easy rides it's without any protection :)
It bulks up a little, but it's an expensive piece of hardware. And yes, it's a great piece of protection :) Not sure, but i think it's aluminium on the outside. Has neopreen inside (the divingsuitestuff :)) And a handy little window to see if anythings going on. All the buttons are free to press with ease.

The crystal case is 'ok' but the belt clip is rubbish - very flimsy, too easy to for the uni to pop out if you sit down and if you catch the clip on something it will probably break. You can't buy the clip seperately so you have to buy a complete new case if you break the clip - the upside of that is, its a cheap case but I have now broken 2 clips so want something sturdier. The case itself is not bad and doesn't add much to the overall bulk of the uni, unlike any leather cases. PDA mode is out though as the screen won't fully close with the top part of the case attached and as it covers the touchscreen if put on in PDA mode, it kind of negates the point!
Hope that's helpful!

Hi, Just wanted to add the case I've just found for my XDA Exec, which might be useful to some people. It's actually a camera bag, but fits the Exec perfectly, zip up top and well padded to keep it nice and safe (front pouch is great for a BT headset or spare battery). Probably a bit to bulky for the 9-5ivers going to/from the office but very good for those who do a more "active" job/activities and require some protection for there brick.
Anyway details:

The medium Krusell Verticalic PDA pouch is *superb* for this device, especially horizontally on the belt. It actually keeps an enormous device snugly in close to the body and is made from a nice bit of hide too. Very tasteful :D
I'm not so impressed with their dedicated Exec case, though, as it isn't wide/tall enough to cushion falls...

Hi All,
I find the PDair alluminium cases to be the best about at the moment. You can buy an optional car mount, to mount the phone in the car while still in it's case and you get a choice of silver or black.
I sell more of these than anything else and I'm yet to recieve a complaint!

Krusell Dynamic Black Leather Case - check it out here:
http://www.cases.com/krxdaexd.htm
Personally, I've found that the Krusell Dynamic Black Leather Case is perfect. Previously, I've had many instances when, in an attempt to remove the device from the pouch, it almost fell... phew...almost. However, with the Krusell multidapt belt clip which comes with the case and its especially well thought out design, I don't have to remove the device from the case to use it, neither do I have to use two hands to access the device.
In terms of fall protection, this case doesn't seem to offer much assistance as a matter of fact it offers none. But for persons who use pouches, especially those without belt clips or loops, it eliminates the most likely instance of falls - removal of the device from the pouch. I haven't been so adventurous to store the device with the screen exposed as shown in the cases.com website, so I usually invert the screen and forfeit single glance caller ID.
I won't mention the fact that you get full access to all buttons, and the camera on the device due to the design of the case. But I will speak about the belt clip. When I was purchasing this case, I also bought a steel swivel belt clip, since I thought the plastic would be too inferior for a device of this weight - but I was wrong. The plastic belt clip has proven to be very sturdy, it doesn't suffer from the wearing out of the spring which ultimately leads to the device slipping out from the clip...and on to the seat of the taxi you are in...then you exit the taxi, oblivious to the fact that your V600 is still in the taxi and you are walking about with just a clip....arrrrgh damn that person who didn't return my V600...anyway, I digress. Fact is the plastic clip is good enough, if you choose to go the metal route, you'd need at least two hands to remove the device - one or maybe two to hold down the lever that secures the device in place and one to remove the device...oh and you should be a weight lifter.

I have found the Aluminum case is the ONLY case to use, I have used ALL teh different canses and they only dont protect from drops, on two occasions I broke the screen when I sat down. Not on the Universal mind you, there was enough flex of the case and teh holder at my hip that it cracked teh screen. With the AL Case, I can even put my MDA in my pocket without a worry of cracking the screen and at $260 a new screen.. I will deal with the big ugly metal case.

I found a neat trick, with a razor you can cut back the neoprene and remove the glass/plastic window. Then you can have full access to the screen for making calls, and such without opening the case. When you put it in your pocket, etc.. just flip the screen to protect it.
I have dropped this case numerous times, some even on concrete from 4 feet, and it saved my MDA everytime.
Ugly little case, but man is it worth every penny.

EB cases www.ebcases.com makes some of the best cases out there. I worked with them by donating my JasJar for a couple of days so they could sketch out and photograph my baby and they did produce a prototype that I have been using.
I have attached the PDF I sent to them to highlight a few small changes that would need to be made for a production unit. The decision to make it a portrait oriented slipper case was a great idea (for me anyway) becaue I use it mostly in the PDA mode and the case as designed works fantastic. It is designed like the other EB slipper cases with the best belt clip on the market (my original MDA, Ipaq 6315 and now JasJar) has never let my phone(s) break free and make like a bird.
If this is the case for you then please email them and let them know that they should put that case into production!
PS. If you want a pouch case then get the Copilot 20 with the belt clip. I used that one first before I got the slipper prototype and it worked very well (a little snug for a few days but then perfect).

Gordo

Been a fan of Krusell case for a longtime on my Nokias, SX1, and now my Universal. As for protection it ain't the best minor bumps it can withstand but any kind of major fall your screwed. Fit and finish top notch fits like a glove, and probably one of the thinnest case on the market, short of the Javoedge rubber ones.
A+ for fit and finish
A+ for functionality and looks

Bought the Sena case and returned almost immediately.
The lining on the inside of the Universal (along the hinge) prevents it from closing nicely. So you'll have to force the case to clip it magnetically.
Hence loosening the hinge.
Instead went and bought the Noreve and I'm loving it.
Took them quite a while to ship it to me but well worth the wait imo.
Holds the Universal well enuf and easy enuf to slide out for me to put my Universal into the brodit/proclip car mount.
Compared to the proporta case where if the magnetic clasp is accidentally released, the Universal will fall out (due to the orientation of the PDA). With the Noreve, the Universal stays there and won't fall out.
Hope that helps.

I have a case that I used for travelling which holds the Universal with a 3200mAh battery well. Nice and tight but easy enuf to pull out.
Can't remember the exact model but I know it's a blue label case. It was either a Pictor or the horizon multiadapt.
I'll post the model # of the case later tonight after I get off work.
It's a good case except for one thing....the clip on my case broke and I'll have to send it in for a replacement which is in Sweden. Other than that, it's a great case for the Universal with a extended battery.

I just did a search for the model # on google and nothing came up.
I went to the Krussel website and it seems that they've discontinued it.
So if you can find one, it's probably old stock.
I got my case from a relative staying in Malaysia. He has the Dopod and bought it for himself but decided not to use it as he uses the regular battery and doesn't like the Universal jiggling around. With the extended battery, it was a perfect fit though.
I'll keep on looking around and see if I can find one and I'll msg back here. If you're interested in the store in M'sia, I can provide you with their phone numbers.

**** Took them a long time to ship it to me! But IMO, worth the wait ****
I think close to a month before I got it. Will not fit extended battery!
My proporta case also had a broken plastic cover. My Universal fell becos of that (while I was running to catch a ride).
FYI, you know you can return your proporta case for a replacement? I already did once and this was the 2nd one that broke on me. S&H was about $5-$7 to UK from US.
Also another note, after using the Noreve, I realize that having a plastic cover over the keyboard is not a good thing. It has a tendency to make the keyboard dirtier (from humidity and oil). Since I've had the Noreve, I've seldom have to clean the keyboard.
However, the sides are not as grippy as I first used it (since I pull it out often to put it in my car holder) but it still holds it in there real well without ever dropping once. One more thing, if you're planning on using the belt holster, make sure you use some loctite on the screw.

Thank you for your valueable info, please let me ask another question: I usually use the PDA with the LCD screen "uncovered" (not in laptop mode, to understand), as you know the proporta case has a soft protection between the upper cover (where you put the additional SD card) and the Universal screen. Is it present also in this one? If not, do you think is possible to re-use the one provided with the proporta case?
Thank you very much

Go to http://www.proporta.com/static.php?id=pp_faq
You'll need to e-mail them and tell them that you need a replacement on your Universal cover. They'll reply with the address and instructions. That's what I had to do last time and probably this time again.
The proporta case actually had a aluminium insert which is very strong.
I just tested the Noreve front cover and it seemed strong. Not as strong as the proporta. It's probably a hard cardboard material.
There is no soft insert in the Noreve either. I have occasionally left my Universal with LCD Screen showing in my Noreve and on my belt holster and haven't encountered any problems. Most times I keep my Universal closed (to save backlight/fluorescent life).
No I don't think it's possible to use the insert in the Noreve. You can try to insert the aluminum piece in the name card slits, but I really don't think
it's going to fit in there.
No, I didn't know that, thank you for the info. Could you please tell me how to return it for replacement?
Thank you for your valueable info, please let me ask another question: I usually use the PDA with the LCD screen "uncovered" (not in laptop mode, to understand), as you know the proporta case has a soft protection between the upper cover (where you put the additional SD card) and the Universal screen. Is it present also in this one? If not, do you think is possible to re-use the one provided with the proporta case?
Thank you very much
Marco.

Go to http://www.proporta.com/static.php?id=pp_faq
You'll need to e-mail them and tell them that you need a replacement on your Universal cover. They'll reply with the address and instructions. That's what I had to do last time and probably this time again.
Thank you bro, I sent it, I'm just waiting for the replacement :D

I use this, it's realy great- but only for standard bateries.
It has protection for keyboard, screen and back camera ( no protection for the camera that is situated above the screen)
You need to watch out and buy this with Slide Swivelkit (sometimes stores sold those separately)
I bought this case with Slide Swivelkit and bike holder. all this costs me about 40$ :D

THe best case for the universal is the VEGA one made out of quality HIDE ( i.e. 3mm thick saddle leather) beautifully hand finished and will last years as well as protecting the Universal. Elasticated Gussets in the leather and available in a chestnut tan or black and fully lined with a velvet like material. Not cheap mine was £39.90 but however long i have the universal (it will be a long while as I even bought a spare I like the design so much) the case will outlast it. VEGA Case number for the Universal is I think 1R164.
Krusell Dynamic Black Leather Case - check it out here:

I've had this one since 2005. With the steel belt clip. It doesn't come off...
Its possible to use the touchscreen by pressing a bit harder than normal on the clear plastic screen cover.
I've also covered mine in squares of stick-on velcro so it sits neatly on my dash when I'm driving.

If anybody has a belt case (like this (http://cgi.ebay.com/Real-Leather-Case-For-O2-XDA-Exec-Wallet-Pouch-Holder_W0QQitemZ270337739847QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_ MobilePhones_MobilePhonesCasesPouches?hash=item270 337739847&_trksid=p3286.m63.l1177)) that i can just put the phone on in a puch on my belt for sale, please let me know. I went to several links throughout this thread, but most were either pricy or not what i wanted.
The link above links to case that i want (kind of ugly, but all i can find that doesn't have those wallet type of cases), however i'm skeptical that a Universal will fit in it.
