Italian localized cooked rom

Here my Christmas gift for all italian Qtek9000 users:

It is a new WWE WinCE ROM cooked with all the .dll.mui dumped from an italian Qtek.

You have to load them on the device just like a firmware upgrade, then copy all the files in the "mui" directory to \Windows on the device.

Then, you can go on with all the registry changes as follows:

HKCU-MUI-Curlang --> 1040
HKLM-MUI-Syslang --> 1040
HKLM-nls-defaultLCID -->1040
HKLM-nls-systemLCID -->1040
HKLM-nls-overrides-LCID -->1040

Soft reset your device.
Enjoy.

It's not a new rom. It's a "cooked" rom. Old rom patched with italian localization.

This might be interesting...apart that i am a total newbie about flashing ROM and change registry...i don't really know where to start...if you can could you send me a PM explaining in italian step by step what i need to do to get my WWE ROM to become and italian one?

i made a cab file to change registry valu for your italian setting
accroding to Toppogigio's instruction.

just copy this device and Tap to change rgistry to 0104.

But for flashing, u must leran.

i also made japanese ROM with O2.
and also my japanese registry is in HV with ROM,
but coul not make a Shell folders such like
[Star Menu---Programs ---Gamese] in Japanese.

Did you made shell folders in italian?
If yuo did,appleciate your instruction here!!

i am not sure above italian rom included "MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe"
but simply way to Flash ROM is like this

Step to Flas ROM

* Power Button + Back Light Button + Stylus Soft Reset to Sireal/USB Mode

(Discribed as “Sireal” on screen, but once connect to PC with USB, description will be changed to “USB”)

* Do not connect via USB hub, should connect direct to USB port of PC

* Excute “MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe” with PC

* Follow the screen and soft reset, after finish flashing (screen picture is O2 Mini/Magician, but do not care it)

* Two Menu Keys and Stylus soft rest to get into Hard Reset Mode, then typ O to proceed Hard Reset.
