Same here - IIWPO doesn't work (on my jasjar I mean). However, I was unable to re-lock the Extended ROM - can this be the reason? Does it need to be locked?

I have succeeded in getting iiwpo to run on the Qtek 9000 with the new o2 rom update. First I tried it by just installing it in the my documents folder and it works. I then tried to put it in rom with no success. After a hard reset it simply would not install. The reason is because it is unsigned and never loads. The solution is simple. First of course you have to unlock and unhide the extended rom, and then follow the instructions for installing the iiwpo cab file you have created. After that, you need to install the program available in this forum to bypass the security check (default_disablesecurity.cab). Put this in the extended rom as well. Then modify the config.txt file. Mine looks as follows:
LOCK:Enabled
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_SSD_BTUR_Patch_For_BT_Cannot_ Initial.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_SSD_Shortcut_WWE.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_o2UK_PortalKey.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_o2UK_UAProf.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_o2UK_VoiceMail.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_o2UK_Customize.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_Remove_BatteryIcon.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_PictureEnhancement_reg.sa .CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_Disable_ErrorDump-Obex.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_Version.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\CAB-Customization-O2UK-Universal.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_MoveO2Tone.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\CAB-Shortcut-O2UK-22Aug05.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Enable_VT_RTPlugin_0727_2_signed.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\VT_DisableOK_O2_0830_signed.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\signed_UNI_o2AUI4_build88.cab
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Default_Signed_DisableSecurity.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\MS5.CAB
I named the iiwpo file ms5.cab instead of iiwpo.cab for a little extra security, since you can see iiwpo loading after a hard reset. It now works as advertised. You should of course do a hard reset to relock and rehide the extended rom. I used the beta of sprite backup to back up my qtek, and so after the hard reset and a re-install of sprite it is easy to restore your unit. The original instructions did not take into account the security check in wm5, as the program was not written initially for our universals.

Back to the drawing board, but I don't think it is a serious problem. I found out that a hard restore writes the programs iiwpo_startup.exe to the windows folder and to the startup folder as it should, but the registry values are never written into the registry. I had been playing around so much with this iiwpo that I forgot that I had restored a registry and thus had the values already in it. A hard restore does not touch the registry as it should. I believe there is a simple solution to this but my knowledge of how the values get written to the registry is not sufficient to immediately solve the problem. Hopefully one of the gurus will read this thread and help out. The values are entered into the registry if you run the iiwpo.cab file from a location other than the extended rom. Perhaps the location in the config.txt file is important. I will continue to work on this and post any further progress.

Solved. Put the items in the config.txt folder

CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_SSD_Shortcut_WWE.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_o2UK_PortalKey.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_o2UK_UAProf.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_o2UK_VoiceMail.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_o2UK_Customize.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_Remove_BatteryIcon.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_PictureEnhancement_reg.sa .CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_UNI_Disable_ErrorDump-Obex.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_Version.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\CAB-Customization-O2UK-Universal.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Signed_MoveO2Tone.sa.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\CAB-Shortcut-O2UK-22Aug05.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\Enable_VT_RTPlugin_0727_2_signed.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\VT_DisableOK_O2_0830_signed.CAB
CAB: \Extended_ROM\signed_UNI_o2AUI4_build88.cab
CAB: \Extended_ROM\IIWPO.CAB
It seems that the security defeat has to go at the top. Perhaps there is some timing delay problem. It now works, and you can put your own phone number in for testing. It will send you an sms.

I still don;t seem to be able to get my xda exec to get the IIWPO program to work. I have followed the instructions found here http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=IIWPO
I have customised the file
I have unlocked my extended rom (though I appear to have directories extended rom and extended rom2
I have adjusted my config.txt file (in both extended rom directories to be sure)
I have installed and activated IIWPO
I have added the disable security cab file, and installed that.
I still don't have any joy with the IIWPO application, and I don't know how to lock the extended rom. I have only being performing soft resets to test the IIWPO out, but using the hole and PHM Tools reset
As always, your help is greatly appreciated

Hello there people
I've been searching for hours on end with no joy so far.
I'm trying to install IIWPO in my unlocked extended rom. I have an XDA Exec that's been flashed with the Imate JasJar 1.30.76
I've taken the steps as per the wiki exactly, that is: got the anonymous file, opened it using the recommended WinCE CAB Manager, changed the platformxxx.reg file to contain my details, stuck it back in the cab.
I then try to just launch the cab file on my universal and it fails. First it asks me where I want to install it, I leave it in the deafult directory, it attempts to install then it says:
"eDsuBsofT IIWPO by XDA-Developers" cannot be installed.
To try installing again to a different location, choose a location:"
It offers me a chance to set another directory and at this stage it fails immediately.
The only difference between the original anonymous template cab, and my cab is the platformxxx.reg file, which I've followed as per the wiki! (I've tried with and without checking the hard-coded box for the \Windows directory entry for that file.
so I've come for help... I've really tried every thing under the sun now. many thanks in advance for any attention!

Does Default_Signed_DisableSecurity.CAB disable the security for file install permanently on?
This will make the device dangerous to virus install.
How to enable it back after IIWPO install?

i've had the exact same problem which i sat hours to figure out.
my problem was the winCe cab manager, i had a damaged version, and without knowing it created damaged installations.
get the newest version from their site (google it if you can't find it), reinstall and try again.
(don't apply any cracks on the app, tho. that may also be the reason)
