Hi.
I need to have lan access from my pocketpc 2003 (Qtek s110 / magician) using usb cable.
Activesync is version 4.0
When using internet explorer i am able to navigate using the usb cable, after specifying the proxy server, username and password(!!).
using the vxutil i see that the ppc IP is 192.168.55.101 (Serial on USB)
default gw is 192.168.55.100 (is the pocketpc, or the host conputer??)
My computer's IP addres is 10.0.100.108 (given by the enterprise DHCP)
on Vxutil, when i try to ping my computer (by the name) or any other computer on the nework the name is resolved(!) in it's IP address but ping times out everytime. Strange because DNS server is 127.0.0.1 (localkhost) and dont have any hosts file (at least that i know of).
Can it be a route missing on my local computer? but there is no network interface to the qtek when i do ipconfig on my pc!
