I am using GPSlim236 (GR-236) Bluetooth paired to a pocket PC (O2 XDA IIs). Navigation Software is TomTom Navigator 5 Bluetooth and the TomTom GPS driver is v2.08.

I am very disappointed with my product GPS reception is mostly poor when used with TomTom Navigator. Standalone using TomTom GPS 2.08 is mostly OK

Other than returning the Holux product as unsatisfactory to Clove Technology I don't know what more I can do help please?

Tested attaching active antenna and using TomTom v2.08 driver it is obvious that the satellite strength is significantly improved. Simple test is plugging and unplugging the antenna cable and watching the satellite signal strength bars moving up on improved signal and down when no active antenna attached to the Holux 236

I have satisfied myself that the poor performance of the Holux GPSlim236 is entirely attributed to Bluetooth.

When the TomTom application process ceases I have identified that it is always the result of the Bluetooth process automatic disconnection.

I want to solve this problem with a solution that replaces the Bluetooth signal with a cable connection to my Pocket PC (O2 XDA IIs) any one have a recommendation?
