Hi guys,

A word of caution: I just got my new XDA IIi and in a flurry of installations, installed the Pocket Music Player 3.2 Bundle and it turned off my MP3 ringtones. Was about to do a hard reset but then I uninstalled Pocket Music Player 3.2 Bundle and everything is sane again.

Does a hard reset wipe out all your apps too and sets it back to 0? Say I deleted some windows files, will a hard reset fix it?

Thanks,
Invizibility.

actually
It is very normal that the pocket music player make ur mp3 ringtone get stuck!!!
I think U are so careless to do a hardreset without checking all settings thoroughly

After installing the pocket music player , the file association of MP3 made the ringtone stuck!!!!!!
U just need to un associate the file to solve the problem.
IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO DO A HARD RESET TO FIX SUCH KIND OF DUMMY PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

REMEMBER, THINK MORE BEFORE DOING SOMETHING, DON'T WASTE TIME

Guess you are right, but I just got my XDA last night. The excitement caught up with me.

Anyways the questions about HARD-RESET.

Actually u are unable to delete the system files as they are in the ROM
After the hardreset the file will be returned to the default factory settings, don't worry
