Microsoft Activesync

Hello,

As many know i just got my Exec (early Xmas present).

I have just put the CD in my laptop (the sync one with red stickers) and it installed Microsoft Activesync however, it just says 'connecting' and does nothing else.

The USB is in correctly, and did say 'installed and ready to use'.

Please help, thanks

Yep, using 4.1, tried 4.0 also no luck

there is a problem with new machine and it does not sync if you are connected to internet. so simple. also......if you are running some firewall with Norton Anti Virus or Trend Micro and either of the software is updating itself when your internet is on.

please switch your internet off and it will work perfectly
