Got my wizard today and despite my new contract sim card not working I am loving the phone. Basic install and im really happy with the speed. I guess its down to what you expect speed wise.

I have also found it very stable and havent had to soft reset once yet so fingers crossed.

Really enjoying my wireless access around the home.

Couple of things I would like straight away though. Is there any way to flag up missed calls or text messages waiting in your inbox a little better ? When the screen goes off is there anyway to kick in a screen saver with a floating missed call or you recieved a text message like I got on my nokia 3650 ?

Also is there any way I can get the phone to automatically log onto my wireless network when I get into my house ? Could I get MSN to automatically log me in when It picks up a wireless connection.

Just scratching the surface so far but this phone is showing a whole lot of potential.

Really happy if anyone is on the fence with the Wizard at the moment. Go for it I say, the O2 deal of £99 for phone and £19 is a bargain as far as im concerned.

Happy Christmas to everyone :D

haven't got answers to all your questions, but I agree with you, it seems very fast to me. Only goes slow when activesync 4.1 crashes it or when way to many apps are open at the same time (I recommend the 'free' magic button, vbar, or the 'pay for' xbar). Certainly just as fast as my previous magician.

you can leave wireless on all the time, and it will connect when at home. however this will tend to drain the batteries (although you can adjust the settings to lower wireless power, but this also lowers speed). obviously if it is not on, it will not know that it is in a wireless network area - catch 22. You could try a hack when, on starting msn, it kicks off wireless, however I have searched and not found this anywhere. however it would seem to be silly as you then can't msn over gprs.

in terms of screen savers with info. couldn't find anything for you, but have a look through:

and if you get bored and just want a game:
