O2 XDA Exec

Hello,

I have managed to pick up a barred O2 XDA Exec, which does not seem to work in the UK.

(I have picked it up by legal means, but I am not sure how it was obtained originally)

I would like to find out if the PDA side of the device will still work even if the Phone part is blocked? ie. can I still use bluetooth/wifi, MSN Messenger etc.

As illegal as it may be, is it even possible to change the IMEI number on this device - I don't want to know how to do it, I just want to know if its possible.

Also, would the current IMEI number be blacklisted on the 3 Network too?

All dodgy questions .... that it's doubtful you'll get them answered here.. sorry mate but obtaining a device by legal means when the person you got it from may have obtained it by shady means doesn't exempt you from legal liability.
