can someone help me and tell me what is this application all about, it is being called numerous times causing me pda to be slow. 2 event types; for wakeup and also sync-end. All these are happening even when i am not connected to my pc on USB. I would like to stop these. Thanks

p/s: i am currently using check notifications to clear all the repeatition

It's used to load services on your phone.
It's necessary, as is gwes.exe and device.exe

Yep. But you can use a program called MemMaid (Or edit the registry) to remove non essential services. But I don't advise it until you really know what you're doing and backup often!
