He all,
I got some connection problems.
If i insert my WiFi card(sandisk 256+WiFi) my I-mate detects it and the antanna is displayed in de buttom of my screen but whenni go to my browser(internet) the message :Cannot connect with current conection settings. To change your connection setting, tap settings.
But i have no id how to change the settings to make it work with my wireless network.
Also the WiFi card couses to freeze the system every once and while. If i take the card out everything is okey again.

I got the I-mate jam with latest rom and radio drivers and I already installed the drivers of the WiFi card.

I hope you guys can help me out with this one

Thanks in advance

I had a similar problem with my XDAII, believe it is likely to be a known problem and related to the dual function of the card.

Have you tried the website for updated drivers?

The other options are to ensure that it you have the correct settings for Work or Internet to connect to.

I assume you are connecting to a wireless Access Point on a home based WIFI system, or are you trying to connect to public hot spots?

Contacted clubimate?

which rom are you referring to, an original manufacturer version or a cooked rom from this site?

if it is a licensed version, I would contact imate, have you installed the latest drivers from the hardware supplier?
I think you may have to go to your wireless settings and ensure connect to the internet is selected. also, scan local networks and ensure you are connecting to the correct network.

my problem when I got that message was cause it was connecting to the guy next door with wep key required.

are you able to connect to your host pc via wifi using a mapped network drive? or are you simply using a wifi hotspot?

if using a wifi hotspot, you should select auto connect to non-preferred networks.

start - settings - connections and choose wireless or wifi or network and have a look at what is actually happening in the network configurations. if you are really struggling still, try posting some screen shots of your network connection settings
