I've got my new 8310- all brilliant for last few days; today I press the START button to get the icons up and nothing happens. THe phone is working, Active sync works - everything works from the top buttons/icons, but the pressiung the Start button brings nothing up; Home/back contacts/email all work.
I've taken the battery out but can't do anything else. Somewhere else recommended resetting to factory, but to do with I need to press START/Acessories/clear storage but I can't get to it.
Any ideas; I'm really stuck and can't find qtek support.

David.

You can reset the phone while is off. Press and hold down the 2 external buttons down the screen (start and contacts buttons), and then press for a 1.5 seconds (important) the power button. Release them. If you have done all ok, you must see a screen telling you to press "0" to reset your phone to factory. If it starts normally repeat the process.

This is the same procedure used in HTC Typhoon models.

Good Luck!

Note that you will lost all your settings / data / etc, except files stored in your memmory card.
