This is somewhat hugely off topic, but I feel it's a cheap way of giving something back to the community.

I have 5, count 'em 5 OFFICIAL Windows Live Messenger (MSN8.0) beta invites to give away. If you want them let me know.

Windows Live Messenger will ONLY work on Windows XP AND futher more it will only let you sign in with the registered account and it installs over the top of MSN 7.5, so if more then just you uses MSN on your computer don't even try this.

I'll check tomorrow the first 5 people to PM me with their MSN passport address will get the invites, I'll post the winners usernames in this topic too.

(One WLM account per registered forum account, so don't bother asking for more then one beta invite)

mjames_84: Don't you look at those nasty remarks. Some people always want to spoil good intentions of people.

As for the others. Where did you see you need to have some kind of installation that does not come from Microsoft sites or something.
I read the virus report. There are names in there that have not been mentioned at all neither are used at any time.

The invite is perfectly safe and I thank mjames_84 for his invite. Rock on dude!

I know too long and not true.

Though a perfectly good reason to use windows live messenger :P
