pw10b1 rom 3.14.03 unlocking and upgrading & no activesy

for unlocking and upgrading I have done few things and made mistake

please see as under

first original :

date 9.27.02
radio 6.12

model pw10b1

now after upgrading :

rom 3.14.17
date 10.11.02
radio 6.12
protocol 324e4
model pw10a1

what i have done :

1. cooked rom from http:**lumpistefan.dyndns.or* PPC 2002 - 3.14.17 ENG O2-Asia with XDAunlock selection

my problems and error now :

1. rom upgraded but device not unlocked.
2. I am not able to connect with all activesync versions, status icon shows connected with green highlight but I can not explore device from there.
3. my device model is converted from pw10b1 to pw10a1
4. my rom converted from 3.14.03 to 3.14.17

I am looking for :

My activesync not working and
I want to unlock device and want to upgrade device with wm2003.

1. For unlocking i would suggest downloading and installing this ROM:
ftp://xda:xda@ftp.xda-developers.com/Wallaby/ROM/Special/special_rom_1.2.exe.zip

2. I think the activeSync-problem is temporarley. Which version are you using?

3. Device model is hardcoded in the ROM and those are just names.....

4. After installing a new ROM it´s normal that you have an other ROM Version on your device

5. Afetr unlocking with the Special Edition ROM you could install easily the WM2003 ROM....

currently I have installed activesync 4.71.1015.0

I have upgraded rom from activesync version 4.1.4841.0

while exploring device, getting error

"critical communication services have failed to start. Try resetting the mobile deice and then connect again."

just reinstalled 4.1 and activesync is now working

going for rom upgrade :D .. will tell u once get success
