I'm transferring a 128Mb WMV to a 256Mb SD Card and the problem I'm getting is that the progress bar keeps resetting during the transfer and starting again.
I've used this SD card already with a movie of similar size and left it to transfer, came back an hour later and all was done. However this is the first time I've been present during the transfer and I'm noticing this problem.
1) Is this normal? (I wouldn't have thought so...)
2) If the SD Card needs re-formatting can this be done on the PPC, and how?
3) Would a hard-reset be worth considering?
4) Should I try re-encoding the movie file incase the WMV file is corrupt?
I can transfer smaller files successfully to the SD Card but seem to have difficulty with this one particular file. I may try to re-convert my media file anyway and see if this fixes things.
Any help appreciated (especially with the formatting of the SD Card anyway as I haven't got a manual and can't find a way to do this).
