ERROR 114 : Radio rom update error - urgent help needed pls.

Please help. I wqas trying to update my radio rom to 1.13 but the error 114 appeared and asked me to disconnect my imate jam and do a soft reset. I did that but its stuck with blank screen that shows SERIAL ta the top of the screen and V1.02 at the bottom. I tried removing the battery and replacing it back but it still shows the black screen.. now im stuck please help...

Have you tried hard resetting at the bootloader screen (this is the SERIAL
screen)

Hard reset is:

__ + __ + Reset button

i tried hard resetting but it didnt make any difference.. now i nearly had a heart attack... what i did was reconnected my imate to my pc and ran the rom update again... to my surprise it did the update then asked me to hard reset... thats it my radio version in now updated... now im going to observe its behaviour first before installing everything again...

now im reverting back to the original rom version then ill update the radio version with 1.13 just in case i made a bad patch cos of disconnecting it during update.. :lol:

It looks like you are using a very old rom, BTW, the newest RADIO is 1.04.10....

Do you have a Vodafone v1640?

no i am using imate new jam. imate says it has the latest rom version.
