Hi,

i've been searching the forum, and i couldnt find any info on this:

my new mda vario (qtek 9100) has a crackling sound when calling. This is only when the speaker is not on. So just when calling the normal way.
It sounds like when you blew up your headphones. Like the bass is fucked up.

ANyone has a solution to this ?

do you have any other apps/games running in the background...

goto menu/settings/memory/running progs and kill them off them retry

does anyone think that this could be a ROM issue ? Or would it be purely a hardware failure ?

Had the same problem. Now the phone speaker doesn't work at all.
Will need to exchange the device.

Is there a way to backup the whole thing to an image in order to get the new one up and running quickly?

Thanks

I have the same issue with my phone speaker. The actual speaker cone is much less protected than on other phones and I wonder if it had gotten poked by something. It's not a huge problem, but it is certainly annoying.
