Hi, All
I have HTC Tornado (Dopod 577W).
I have read topic about Hard Reset using "Clear Storage" app.
I am able to start Windows, can run Start menu, but I can't start any app from there. Therefore I can't run "Clear Storage" app. :(
Does anybody know how to make hard reset using buttons combination?
Thank you, prompt reply would be appreciated

Turn you phone off.
Press and hold the two softmeny buttons (those 2 placed to the left and right direct under the display) while you press on/off button for about 0.5 seconds. Make sure you still have the soft buttons pressed when release the on/off button.
After a few seconds a text will appear in the display telling you to press "0" (zero) to make an hard reset.

You should have seen the buttons presses needed to hard reset a HTC Wizard  Had to hold 3 buttons while pressing the soft reset button
You could almost do it accidentally

Thanks to all
But probably I have very serious problem,
I tried to make soft-reset pressing 2 soft-buttons and shortly pressing Power, after that I saw black screen with message "press 0 ...". I pressed 0 but I saw just Operator Logo again (Dopod Enjoy Mobility). Device is hung again at Operator Logo :(
I tried several times but can't get success.
Does anybody know how to make it live again?
Thanks.

i'm using an imate SP5, i would just download the ROM from clubimate and flash the device.
Can you get a ROM updater from your telco's website ?

Thank you for your help.
There is no any update for Dopod. I have checked their site just week ago.
I have already found 2 another RUUs for HTC Tornado:
1. i-mate_SP5_RUS_1.5.332.1
2. Cingular 2125 Software Update
But I don't know if I may use them and not to harm my smartphone (I have Dopod 577W). Besides, these two updates are .exe-files and I need to install them via ActiveSync. But ActiveSync can't be enabled (because I can't load OS) therefore I unpacked them and I am going to load nk.nbf via TTY.
Will it work?

you can still install these updates through the bootloader. load up the 3color screen and as long as it says usb in the corner, the update package will find it and install without an activesync connection.

Thanks a lot Dave106!
It works! But it reports about bad vendor ID. As I know I need to change CID (CDL_xxxx).
Does anybody know CID for Dopod 577W?
