Tomtom Navigator 5 and windows mobile 2005 backlight problem

This is the first time on this forum. I have just purchased tomtom 5 Navigator and upgraded my xda 2 to windows mobile 2005. Everytime I switch the tomtom on the backlight goes out and resets back to default.
I have installed PHM regedit on my xda 2 but I do not know what files to chage to stop this. Many thanks. :(

Hi There

Here is the modified file it should help for your backlight prob

just replace your exe file in your navigator with the attached file and change the file name as yours.

but make sure you take the backup or save your file somewhere on the computer if something goes wrong so you can come back to where you are now.

Sorry but I should have said I have purchased the best version available to date on a sd card last Monday Version 5.210 also on the card is GB s/e maps.

Not sure what version you have ,or what version this is , i havent used tomtom on my xda 2 since i dropped and knackered it :( anyway this is tomtom 6 with the backlight fix
