View Full Version : Can somene clarify (02 Atom) vs (HTC Prophet/JAMin/818 Pro)

Can somene clarify the key differences between (02 Atom) vs (HTC Prophet/JAMin/818 Pro).

All I can tell is that Atom has the original 416mhz processor and 2.7" screen while and the other one has the new slower OMAP chip and 2.8" screen.

Anything else in difference?

Atom is made by Quanta Computer Corporation and not HTC.

Atom has FM radio.

A number of issues with the Atom.

According to yer PDF, the Prophet retails for £363 (converted from Hong Kong Dollars).

Any idea where I can get it for that price?

Yep, here locally! :D

Sorry I realize that's probably not much help.... the lowest we've seen here is HKD 4880...

(expansys hk shows 4980, but not sure how much it'd be incl. shipping)

Call Expansys UK and they will ship one for you from Hong Kong. That's what I did. I called them up in Manchester and they got it for me. I only paid shipping from UK to Malta.

How much did it cost altogether?

I'm not so sure they'll ship one from HK as they now list the imate jammin on their UK site.

I think I can get it delivered for less than (5,150 HKD=£375) from Expansys Hong-Kong.

Expansys were expensive when I got my magician last year.
Theirs sold for about £401 excluding delivery.

I bought one from mobilejoker.de for £380 and that price included:

1GB SD card,
UPS Delivery from Germany to England
Cash-on-delivery fee.

Not many people seem to be selling it yet so I may wait a few weeks.

Expansys UK lists the magician for £355.90 but the Hong Kong site should deliver the Prophet for £375.

27, £375 is exactly what I paid for my device. I just ordered it from expansys.com.hk and called expansys UK quoting my order ref no a little later. It was a very simple transaction.
