Xda turns on when you plug it in

Hey there
I might just be being stupid but is the XDA Exec meant to turn on when you plug it into the USB or charger? It was off and then I pluegged it in and it came on all by itself, started up Windows etc. Is this normal?

how off was it? by pressing the on off button off, or by removing/inserting battery off? mine will turn on fully, if it is off by the button, then plugged in, then screen opened

It was battery off... well, the battery had run down and the screen turned off. It also did it when I first got the Exec... when i plugged it in to charge the first time it turned on itself, and i think that's why my battery isn't great now.

I heard/found that pressing the on/off button doesn't really turn it off. When i press it it sorta turns the screen off, then i press it again and the screen comes on, and i press it again and it seems to turn off. What's this about? lol
