Dopod 900 with Sandisk Extreme 1GB Performance!

I just bought SanDisk 1GB Extreme III, and I thought I would like to share my experience with it.
This is the comparison of speed with the SanDisk 1GB standard which came for free when you bought your dopod 900.

Copying 6.89mb Files from Dopod 900 to Storage Card(Standard) Takes 4 Minutes 15 sec.
Deleting Files 6.89Mb in Storage Card(Standard) Takes 5 minutes 45 seconds.

Copying 6.89mb Files from Dopod 900 to Storage Card(Extreme) Takes 1 Minutes 30 sec.
Deleting Files 6.89Mb in Storage Card(Extreme) Takes 2 minutes 20 seconds.

I guess it’s worth the buy since there is a substantial speed gained from upgrade to the Extreme.

thanks for the info...I was wondering about those pesky 'Hi-Speed' cards and if they would make any difference. Most of what I read is that they didn't make a lick of difference and that the UNI has a limited bus speed.

Yes that's what I heard but I did testing myself, I think based on my results, it's obviously showing a dramatic improvement.
