o2 homezone icon

does the homezone icon exists for the universal? Is there this functionality on the xda Exec rom?
If it does, can I install it manually on a qtek 9000 and how?

soweit ich das sagen kann gibt es noch kein "echtes" Homezone Plugin für den Exec. Aber ich habe es geschafft das WM05 Plugin auch auf dem Exec laufen zulassen.

Es gibt aber noch ein paar Schwierigkeiten:
1. lief es nie mit dem Standard Extrom
2. das Plugin ist nicht für VGA Geräte gedacht daher ist das Häuschen sehr klein geraten

aber wie man sehen kann ist es möglich


Installiert habe ich folgende ROM Version: QTEK_13096_185_10900_GER_Ship
Wenn du es testen möchtest gebe ich dir gerne ne Installationsanleitung.

Hello ping79,

as far as I can say, there isn't any "real" [official] homezone plugin availiable for the Exec. But I have worked out how to run the WM05 plugin on the Exec too.

But there are still some difficulties:
1. it never worked with the standard ExtROM
2. the plugin wasn't made for VGA devices, so the home icon has become very small

but as you can see, it is possible. [see screenshot in original german post]

I have installed following ROM version:
QTEK_13096_185_10900_GER_Ship
If you want to test it, I can provide you an installation howto.
