Xda Universal - A Misery- Help Needed (Any genius)

Hi! i have a universal jasjar, since i have brought the device, iam facing problems everyday.i had broken my lcd earlier n had to pay 200 pounds to get it fixed and now its broken again..i think it has the most fragile screen i have ever seen..has any 1 got it fixed for cheap?

the other problem is i was working on my pda(with the broken screen), it suddenly said yr phone is running out of memory, please close applications..i rebooted and it started in safe mode ( i have spb pocket plus installed) and then again rebooted ..now it is only rebooting..the flash screen shows up for a min. then screen goes off and then it again reboots..

Can some 1 please help..

Hey man,
Put yr device in Bootloader mode and reflash CE ROM...BTW where in India u hv replaced the screen...I think 200 GBP is too high...I know the person who looks after the I-mate service center and from there it shd not cost more than 15k INR...

How do i put it in bootloader mode? i had got it changed from imate service centre in delhi, rajouri garden..they charged me 15500 INR..equivalent to 200 GBP.. they are cheaper alternatives available in market..just tryin to find them..

Press Light+camera+Powwer and simultaneously soft rest...u will see "serial" on the screen(without light)...attach data cable and run the ROm update...If u are facing problem u can call me @ +919890034127...may be I can guide u.

Gosh that sucks. These guys are really ripping all of us off.

People in the UK are buying the Exec for about 200 pounds and we have to spend that amount only to get the screen changed? Unreal.

Hope you find a better alternative. Would the O2 centre in GKI be any better and would they repair it?

Well, thanks brother for all yr help and guidance..i have been able to reload the CE by going into bootloader mode, but the problem is i have to install all my programs again..lol..
however, i am unable to find a cheaper alternative for lcd screen..as iam currently in uk..wil try n sort out something here..may be get an insurance..

Hi Vikas and Nishant,
O2 Exec will not be released in India and hence u won't get warranty for the same..it is only JASJAR and I mate so....

I still doubt that UK will hjave cheap resources for the LCD as it been mfrd in Taiwan...

If someone have contact in HK...one can really get cheaper resource...FOr Ex I normally get XDA 2 screens at 4-5k(Landed in Pune)..

dear all,

any one know the address ..especially the email address for the o2 warranty and service centre in uk?

i've a problem with my exec (its hang after i reload the new software updated..i've do it for a several times but its still hang)...and i've manage to email o2 custoemr support and they ask me to sent the unit but can't help me to contact their warranty and service centre...

please some help me in this..since i'm now in malaysia!!!!!!!!!

if anyone got any idea to setlle my problem..pelase email me also!!!
