Upgrading Imate-Jam Problem Please Help

Please help me to upgrade rom of my imate-jam. I have
Model No.: PM10A
Rom version: 1.03.00 wwe
Radio version: 1.01.00
Protocol version: 1337.38
ExtRom version: 1.03.141 wwe

I downloaded the rom file generic worldwide english from the support page.But when installation starts it says Country ID error N_12_12_12 something like that and says please download correct rom for your device. Which file I should download or how I can upgrade please help me...........................................

Pls read the magician wiki (top right link on the page) section about upgrading with the exe method & get maupgradeut_noid.exe to bypass this error.

I tried the link you said but in my rom file there is no maupgrade file . instead it is Romupgrade file and ms_.nb not like ms.nb1 etc. please help me some one says that i need the country check by pass utility where is it???

Did you read yhe whole upgrade from shipped-rom section????

Maupgradeut_noid.exe replaces romupgrade.exe in this case.

I tried it but no way. it says please download the correct version for your rom this is not the correct rom. PLease helpme to upgrade my jam.I am so worried. I replaced the romupgrade file with maupgrade but still wrong Rom.

Try the Dutch 1.13WWE it's English & will fit the description in the wiki. First update without patching. Just extract all files & put maupgradeut_noid in the same folder & execute that one twice!

If it's a succes, then patch for BS. Make a copy of your own ext-rom before updating, cause your operator settings for gprs etc. are in one of those cab-files.

Thanks god and thanks all of you. No need to download the dutch. I just putt off the device use bootloader then connected the device following your and wikis previous instruction to maupgrade_noid.exe and replaces the romupgrade.exe and finally I got this:

Rom Version: 1.12.00 wwe
Radio version: 1.12.10
ExtRom version: 1.12.128 wwe

Is this the proper upgrade???

It looks pretty good, how's your storage folder? It may not be the latest rom, that's 1.13, but the differences are probably very small.
