Pls help NEWBIE @ work

hi guys just got mine siemens sx56 known as wallaby
i would like to upgrade it windows on it and softwear as well

when i turn on the phone gives me this

in the bottom right corner it says

ra33 .03
r30.07

what does all that mean?
like i said i'm very new to this site and would like to get a step by step from some of you more experianced people

i found out that my pocket pc is ver. 4.20 (build 14053)
1996 - 2003 copy right
what windows is in this ? cause i can't play any MIDI files as ringtones

There are not many ROMs that are newer than yours, so i would stay at your current ROM....

For adding Polyphone Ringtone support try adding the content of the ZIP-File in your Windows directory on your device.....

hi thx for the reply but as me i went ahead and upgraded it to win 2003 se ... but now the battery life on that is so low

what do u recomend me do now?

Visit http://www.romkitchen.de/ , cook your own ROM (i would suggest 4.01.12 ENG) with some application included and be happy....

WM 2003 SE is not very workingfriendly, cause it has some bugs in the Wallaby version....

thank u very much for ur help

but as for Poly ringtones ... i still can't get the phone to play *.midi or mid files ... any sugestions?
or even set them as ring tones ... i have to convert the midi files to wav and that takes up alot of space
