I have been given an xda, unlocked, and want to use my payg vodafone sim in it...

I have set up the gprs connections, it does connect...but I don't get the home page! Even manually entering the home page address in the IE address bar doesn't bring it up - all that happens is that I eventually get a 'the page you are looking for cannot be found'

BUT when I check the gprs is definitely connected? Can anyone help :?:

p.s. before anyone suggests it, I have checked every single post on this forum for the answer - I have also tried vodafone direct (useless), vodafone online (ditto) and filesaveas :(

try doing a search for
"paygo" AND "vodafone" AND "GPRS"

it should give you results with posts
where all words are present

sounds like a DNS issues if you ask me
