Power consumption of different WM2003, WM2003SE and WM5

Hi,

I'm currently running WM2003, and am thinking of upgrading.

I was wondering if anybody had noticed a higher power consumption with WM2003SE or WM5?

I haven't seen that anyone has done much testing, so I think I may well need to put on my labcoat, and get out my clipboard. If I notice anything out of the ordinary, I'll let everyone know.

.....Well I'm still not sure, I think I must just have been bored at work,

after more time changing ROMs than actually using my XDAII, I've come to the conclusion that the XDAII best suits WM2003. I get about 20 hours more standby with WM2003 over the other 2 OS.

I do love WM5, but if i'm blunt, it's just pretty colours, for which you pay in power consumption.

The one and only thing I found of benefit with WM2003SE is that you can go portrait or landscape :roll: is that a benefit if it costs you power consumption?

I don't want/expect you to criticise my views, just add your own comments. I started this post in hope it may resolve someone else's curiosity.
