Updrading German Rom to another

I'd like to change my glorious Magician for his new brother Wizard! In order to save my money i'd like to buy one in ebay and i realized that auctions from Grmany are cheaper (399€!!).

German keyboards are QWERZ kind instead of QWERTY, so i'm afraid that, using ad italian rom, for example, letter Z will be associated at Y and so on with other different buttons. :shock:

Anybody tried??

Don't worry.
I'd just bought a Xda O2 German Rom with QWERTZ Keyboard.
Everything's working OK with Spanish ROM.
Easy to update. Ask me if you doubt. Regards.

if you need to change the keyboard then just use AEKmap.

you can then design you own keyboard.


I upgraded my Wizard from German to WWE ROM and the remapped the keys using AEKmap and it works fins :-)e

I tried to upgrade to greek rom but after that ,my 9100 was locked
